Unless this item (the ID 14754) has different identify lore, I believe Pulsating Gem [ID 24625] should be merged with this item. They are identical in stats.

I marked the other as a duplicate item and set it as no longer dropped.

Drops from Qunard Ashenclaw
This is not from Temple of Veeshan

This is from Veeshan's Peak, not Temple of Veeshan. Actually all the items that are posted on today's update are from Veeshan's Peak. Someone from Kabald must have been in their usual drunken barbarian warrior state when sending in these items... *cough* Centari *cough* ;)

I personally think the +4 everything talismans are better (they have saves and +mana to boot). This is kinda disappointing unless it's a quest item.

You kidding? If you only look at this as a replacement to your neck piece, then I suppose you might want to pass. But I'd replace my Book of Obolus in a second if I had this. I'd rather get bonuses to all my stats rather than just a few.

Of course, this piece may not be for everyone's character. If your personal character has better stuff, then more power to you. But as one of the million druids in the game, this certainly helps me in many ways - during combat, during crafting times, and during merchant times. I can't understand why anyone would see this piece as only so-so, but I'd be more than happy to be hanging around you when this dropped.

Ya know, the day I have to choose between this and one of those other gems with Saves bonuses, I MIGHT agree, but given that they can reasonably be equipped together on the same character, and that I'm still looking to find someone who has been given the chance to loot both, I'll hope Verant keeps making these kinds of "So-so" items so the chances of me getting ONE of them improves.

Just visit western wastes if you want one of those other ones :) I would always notice them rotting because they drop so much; I'm sure any guild killing there (assuming this isn't the first time) would have extras.

I kill in WW often. We don't have talisman's sitting around rotting. There's always a friend or an invite that would love one. IMO, this is a fine addition to a talisman. Talismans are good for raids like ToV or Sleepers (when you get there), this is good for general wearing and exp grouping.
