All this fuss over this item. I know if I were offered it, I would wear it. /shrug. And yes, my guild is on a DKP system.
#REDACTED, Posted: Dec 10 2002 at 12:35 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Nope you are wrong about getting this and DKP. DKP is only good for guilds that have a lot of people and/or are a bunch of whiners.
All/All.. means anyone
# Aug 06 2002 at 3:34 PM Rating: Default
The type of guild that can get this is 99% of the time on the DKP system, so whoever has enough points would get this.
I would love this item as much as anyone.
And I would have a good chance at acquiring it too, if I was in an uber enough guild to get it...
RE: All/All.. means anyone

Remember the 5 extra lvls everyone gets now. It would take many lvl 60's to kill Vulak, not nearly as many 65's. Dont need a big guild to loot in ToV anymore.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 23 2002 at 8:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I believe that the only guild currently killing Vulak on Torv are Blades of Wrath, Sglanton? Do they use DKP?
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 16 2002 at 7:39 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) auctually monolith probally has the power to kill him now not sure of this
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 29 2002 at 12:30 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok - I KNOW I will get blasted for this but here goes - THIS IS A RANGER ITEM. It is one of the TOP MOST useful wrist items in the game for a ranger.
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 13 2003 at 11:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Using your same example:
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 03 2002 at 11:17 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I agree with you, this is a ranger item. It's also a caster, melee, and priest item. I seen pickup raids go into HoT but I have yet to see NToV. This will be aquired by a guild raid. Therefore it is pointless to debate who this belongs to. What it all comes down to is how this item will best benifit the guild not a single person. Maybe it best goes to the MT (ogre warrior), or maybe they use a reward system for the amount of raids you have gone to.

lol Aye... and why an enc would want one...
For 5k, UP bracer 15 int 6 to SVs....
This is melee, this is why its 35 AC, 50 hp, 20 stamina....
RE: Very nice
# Nov 27 2003 at 10:11 AM Rating: Decent
Ask any 60+ enchanter... they'll tell you that when they look at gear they're looking for sta/hp/ac because they get hit so much. 65 enchater from my guild had 7300hps with virtue and is very good at what she does.

Necros would kill for this as well. sta=hps=mana.

I would rather see this go to a caster than a melee... fewer of it's stats are wasted on a caster.

Very Nice

No matter what class you are, this has something for you. Melee/Hybrid/Caster you name it, its got it. I would love this as an Enchanter for its killer INT and all the lovely resists plus the extra hp and mana, not to mention the AC and STR would be great, encumber less often and shoot, AC is AC =) everybody loves AC. My ToV faction is almost non KOS so I cant wait to get in there and have a crack at this. I'll be going against everybody else of course. But as an ench I need both CHA and INT maxxed out and I only have 180int w/o buffs, of course CHA 203 unbuffed but I'd love to have both there =)

Congrats, /cheer, /woot to anyone that gets this beautiful item!

the effect makes this a wonderful melee item. however, for the casters, the 15 wis int and 50 mana... cant go too wrong there either.
War then maybe Monk.

I’m not going to bother reading the posts here. Most the posts on this entire page are from people who don’t even know where ToV is. Anyways, the AC is insane I’m pretty sure one of our warlords would get this first. Two things really stand out on these. 35 AC and 20 STA. I can use the AC for pulls but I see the warlords getting it first.

P.S. yes this is a good monk bracer if not the best I have seen. People that ***** about monks talking about this type of all/all armor really have no clue about Monk only armor. The best out of the 3 quest Monk armor sets is Kael armor and it’s not even that good. For an example, the helm: We let them rot all the time or loot for MQ, I don’t have it but it’s not even worth wasting the gems on it. I lost 1 AC using the arms over all/all cheap azure arms but like the HP and other stats. For a real laugh, look at shiverback.

LoL, just saw this bracer right after I saw the above bracer:

Silver Bracelet of Speed, damn some insane stuff there. I don’t see us moving to CoV faction so probably will never see this. My guess is War first for those also.

Vulak'Aerr is on ClawsofVeeshan/GuardiansofVeeshan faction to my knowledge, as such, moving to COV as a guild isn't an issue, in fact, it would be dumb, because you would lose all your faction quite rapidly killing him and his 12 some odd homies that come with.

Only person who needs to do it is one 55 plus mage, for call of the heroing your guild in to a safe spot.
RE: War then maybe Monk.

He was talking about CoV faction for silver bracer of speed (quest in ToV, requiring killing in ToV Testing Halls and Allied CoV faction).
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 28 2001 at 3:02 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) In all truthfulness, aren't these items useful to every class? The effect on this particular items *is* more appropriate to melee classes, though.
RE: All/All ToV Items
# Feb 28 2002 at 11:39 PM Rating: Decent
IF this item was available in the 40's (with MUCH reduced stats but still the effect) then Im pretty sure necros would kill for it. Not sure on the cast time of invigor but Call of Bones + 100 hp per 10 seconds or so, thats 60 hp a tick regen, hehe. Anyways, since the stats are not reduced and the item is only available to a select few guilds, I would definatly say warrior or monk due to the ac, str, and sta, and to a lesser degree resists.
RE: All/All ToV Items
# Apr 24 2002 at 8:07 PM Rating: Decent
FYI most likely this would go to a warrior just because we are the ones that are taking the damage in high-end fights not casters, if you have a good tank that can hold aggro from AoW+HP etc. then HP/AC is the most important factor, and our gimp **** warlords bracer is what 25 ac? /cough 10 more AC, just my opinion =/
RE: All/All ToV Items
# Mar 03 2002 at 1:43 AM Rating: Decent
Umm, Invigor is stamina regen, you're thinking of invigorate 112hp in 14secs (or somewhere thereabouts, nobody can seem to agree and haven't tested it myself yet). Pretty sure that the only caster usable regen type item is Zlandicar's Heart... Just get regrowth from you local druid/shammy.
RE: All/All ToV Items
# Sep 03 2001 at 5:17 PM Rating: Decent
If you're fighting where this drops, you don't need to cast this effect on yourself. Clerics, shamans, and druids can cast it on you easily. And by that level, you'll probably have a shaman's acumen spell on you anyway and won't need invigor. And it's a minor spell, at best. Giving preference to melee classes on the basis of what the spell is would be pretty goofy indeed.

Especially since giving this item to a pure melee class would completely waste the uber stats of 50 mana and 15 wis/int, giving it to a warrior, rogue or monk would be nuts. I can see giving it to a shadowknight or a paladin, maybe. Maybe.

It may be the case that this is an incredible item for every class, but handing out every item to a melee first just because it has AC on it -- even really great AC -- can be silly.

Melee have a ton of fantastic AC equipment they can wear, including plenty from this very zone. People who need int/wis/mana have far less, and far fewer still that combine much AC at all with int/wis/mana. This is not just one godly option among many for a wis/int/mana using class, it is an unbelievably rare and great one.

It would more that DOUBLE the AC of my jaundiced bone bracer on my shaman, plus drastically amplify other stats I use all the time. A shaman can get hit earlier than anyone, and if he doesn't survive, there goes your slow. Now you've gone and done it! If you think one more warrior with high AC is more useful than a slowed mob, you're nuts. For instance, a shaman, even level 60 in uber gear, can easily die every pull in Temple of Veeshan, from lack of AC alone, even though he's wearing very uber stuff. Now you all have to melee an unslowed mob, and when he's through with you, he's coming for your casters next. Good luck!

The regular melee classes are hardly the only ones that need AC, have a million options to get good AC, and since this item has extremely hard to get AC of anywhere remotely near this for any casting class AND has uber stats on int/wis/mana, it would be very unbalanced to give this to pure melees, who would waste the int/wis/mana entirely and have so many, many, many more options for great AC.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 27 2001 at 4:57 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is such a ranger item it's not even funny. The mere fact that it is a wis bonus, plus *ahem* 50 mana, not real worthwhile for a Monk, they should just slap Tunare's symbol on it
RE: Monk this...
# Nov 16 2001 at 11:59 AM Rating: Decent
Actually, looks kinda nice as one of the best wizard items I have seen in the game! 20 sta and 15 int (both prime requisites) and about 5 to all saves, what wizard can't use saves? And, most importantly, look at that AC. Besides, whats a ranger gonna do with AC anyways? He takes damage as a druid!

I hope you all see how stupid you look by saying this is a <insert class here> item. These things have an all all tag on it, and that is just what it is. All All. Everyone can use these... and yes, even a wizard could put this to good use.

#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 24 2001 at 6:46 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Just because of its Weight doesn't Make it a monk item other tanks can have no weight items too ya know. I would say that this is more of a tank class item. specially for SK's or Pally's. The added Int or Wis is always welcome for one of these classes. Some could also argue that because of the Wis it could go to a druid/shaman/cleric.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 25 2001 at 6:28 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Ok, the right-click is accessible to a number of classes already on other equipment. Still, the rather rare 20 Stamina makes this a melee wet dream. Specifically, non-large race Warriors, non-Barbie Rogues and without a doubt all Monks will be greatly desiring this item.

Its all a matter of personal opinion, stats and stamina replenish spell, or 3 more AC slightly reduced stats 50 more health and haste. if someone has a good haste item already haste has alot less to do with the decision as to which bracer is better then the other
RE: Just feel i need to say you guys are... wrong.
# Aug 24 2001 at 12:30 AM Rating: Decent
Hell, if you can, get them both! With these stats and effects, there is no need to choose just one (though since these are both so high end, its not likely that one person will get both anytime soon).

As for which class this is best for, its got str, sta and hps for tanks, wis/int/mana for casters and hybrids and the ac/saves would rock for anyone! If a caster gets this, he uses the effect on the tanks, if a tank gets this, he uses it on himself when he can take a momentary break.

But aye, I agree, this has got to be the nicest all-around bracer I have seen yet (though I would still happily take a JBB if anyone wants to give one up! LOL!! yeah right!)
RE: Just feel i need to say you guys are... wrong.
# Aug 24 2001 at 3:43 AM Rating: Decent
It may be nice and all, but it sure is harder to get than this one. This is found on ONE dragon not pieces and parts from multiple ones and having to deal with great faction with ToV
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 23 2001 at 5:17 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This is THE BEST bracer in the game!
RE: Wow
# Aug 23 2001 at 7:03 PM Rating: Default
The stats alone make this the best bracer in the game, then you add in the triggered Invigor (15 second cast time, heals 90hp, 50% faster than fungi tunic or whatnot) you find yourself staring at a even better bracer. Please people, don't start an argument of "It's best for X class" on this board because it would kick *** for any class (but it truly is best for Rogues :P)
RE: Wow
# Aug 24 2001 at 8:51 AM Rating: Excellent
Invigor is the "Zing" spell that restores Stamina.

Invigor
Decrease Stamina Loss by 35 (L9)
--------------------------------------------------Spell cast on you: Your body zings with energy.
Spell cast on someone: Soandso looks energized.

Invigorate is the heal.

Invigorate
Increase Hit Points (HP) from 71 (L1) to 100 (L30)
--------------------------------------------------
Spell cast on you: You feel much better.
Spell cast on someone: Soandso looks invigorated

RE: Wow
# Aug 23 2001 at 11:53 PM Rating: Decent
Being a druid I have this spell and can testify that it is a Stamina Regen over time spell NOT a life regen spell, though for some reason many people think differently. I have even went through the trouble to test this spell when low on life to see if i got any life regen effect, and I didn't.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 23 2001 at 7:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Me coulda' sworn dat Invigor restores yous stamina, dat being so, dis best be goin' to some tank, cause dems da ones dats be losing da stamina. Not dat dem udda classes not lose der stamina in fight, but tanks be da ones who must keep da aggro in da uber fights and dem needin' every benefits available. And where yous get off by saying dis be gud for Rogues? Not dat it bad for dem hehe, but in my opinion dis go to warrior den hybrid's pali/sk/rng, and den to da casters way before da rogues. Only class rogue would be before is a monk, cause monks neber use up der stamina.
RE: huh?
# Aug 25 2001 at 5:19 PM Rating: Decent
>cause monks neber use up der stamina.

Go buy a clue.
RE: huh?
# Aug 24 2001 at 12:53 AM Rating: Excellent
Most main "Tanks" should have a stamina of 100 or above so the Invigor will be of no use in a fight as AGI is not affected by Stamina running out when over 100.

On and btw, my 54 monk runs out of stamina in a long fight as she has less than 100.
RE: Wow
# Aug 23 2001 at 7:08 PM Rating: Decent
actually it replenishes stamina, you are thinking of invigorate, invigor is MUCH better for high end raids such as this
