Nice very nice head slot item with pure mana. im currently using black silk cap.. this is a definiate upgrade. the reason WIS is good on int caster items is for skills.... the higher wis u have if ur an int caster... (visa versa for wis casters) ur succession on combines is determined on how high ur skill is.... and ur wisdom.
well i think thats wut every one says hehe but im not sure.
Mez
# Jul 08 2002 at 9:30 PM Rating: Decent
Mez is completely MR based. Thats why you resist mez from mobs when you have high MR, and why mez lands on you when you have low MR. Cha is exclusively limited to charm--and it's over rated in that respect. That is the reason every chanter you see has max int, and the highest cha they can get while maintaining max int.
its OK for chanters but not perfect

funny thing is .. aside from ac all the SoV head pieces for chanters actually downgrade their CHA from plane of hate.. the insidious halo is 20 cha/9int heh.. pog is 15cha.. this puppy while great ac and +mana actually drops them significantly from other head pieces on both int/cha and since cha has no soft cap in regards to mez etc.. 255 is what ur looking to get in that stat if your an enchanter.

You enchanters are very lucky with this little baby now. Awesome for int casters and perfect for the enchanters. Makes me want to create an int caster.

Item already in database...

This item is already in the database, was added last week. http://eqdb.allakhazam.com/item.html?item=6393

The word "Skies" was spelled incorrectly in the original entry (Verent's fault), but it looks as if the latest patch has corrected the spelling. /cheer !

INT/WIS
# Aug 02 2001 at 9:40 PM Rating: Default
Yeah, I don't get that. They have a bunch of INT caster-only items that have WIS and WIS caster-only items that have INT...

VERY nice item, though. 25 AC on the head. Wow.

While having Int on a WIS caster only item, and vice versa, makes no sense, it allows all of your stats to be that pretty green color. Not much of a good reason, but it was all I could come up with when my warrior got the (warrior only) crafted helm with +5 WIS and +5 CHA.
Suprised

I'm surprised that this isn't usable by the priest classes as well since the bonus to int is the same to wis.
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 03 2001 at 7:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Pointless remark. Its not because it has WIS bonus that priests should be able to use this.
Chanters

This is pretty good for enchanters who can use the Charisma bonus better than the other classes, but it is still great for all the classes listed especially with that 0.0 weight.
