Scars of VeliousLevel 65 monk myself (Mojoclaw Shadowfist on The Tribunal)
I have my RotWF, but my guild seemingly refuses to help me, and i guess not many people are willing to give the time to get the PoSky piece, or any of the others for that matter.
The epic is the most frustrating thing I have done with any of my chars in the 2 years of playing it. Keep in mind that I, and I alone, earned my Robe of the lost circle at level 51.

I agree, not every monk out there is lucky with getting the pipes(or raster for that matter). There are a lot of bottlenecks in the quests leading up to the monk epic, and if you are unlucky enough to get stuck at one of these for a long time then it is very possible to be hunting in ToV and not have the epic. I would add that any monk fighting in ToV that has the RoWF has no excuse for not getting the epic. If you have enough friends or guildmates to fight there, you can go get your epic in a matter of hours.
Anyway, gratz to Kempodo, those gloves will serve them nicely until they are able to get their epic =)

Not true anymore. My monk has RotWF, but not epic, mainly because of the PoSky revamp. Tried to get my epic piece there with a cleric friend, the mobs were easy as pie, but when we got to noble djorns island, about 5 azaraks showed up and attacked us, and The Storm Mistress and bladestorms on Noble Djorns island (Noble djorn himself was strangely missing) assisted the azaraks in disembowling us. After 3 times of this, we gave it up as not possible short of wiping out azarak island first.
Our guild is extremely hesitent to do a PoSky raid, and no one else seems to want to go up there for whatever reason, hence, I'm a 63 monk (as of this writing) with no epic.

These are kinda nice, but by the time you are tough enough to hunt in ToV you will almost certainly have the epic gloves.
Give the monkys a little more power in the punches :)
