I am on Karana server, if any 29+ cleric happens to read this PLEASE send me a /tell. I have the spell and the topaz with me at all times I just need you to mem it and cast it. I have not had any luck locating a Quellious Cleric in 5 long days of pestering.
Good armor for pallys

I play an erudite paladin and while I'm not sure I'd spend the necessary cash to make the BP or the greaves, steelsilk armor has some good stuff for less common armor slots. I plan on trying to make the pauldron, boots, gauntlets, and cloak if I can ever come up with enough silk.
And I agree that this stuff is pretty useless to clerics, though all the plus str, dex, and agi would be very nice for me.

You know, for a set of armor DESIGNED with cerics and paladins in mind, it kinda stinks. I mean, it's pretty sweet for the fighting style of a paladin, but 1 wis? thats kinda sad.

In terms of effort VS reward Erudite race specific tailoring items have got to be the most worthless in the game. I am of course assuming that the Terrorantula is still the only source of the silk, and that it still requires purified mana to make (approx 600p worth of rubies per vial). Thats not even mentioning the platnium thread which is expensive as well. You would be much better off getting planar armor for the effort entailed in this or any number of better leggings from velious. Just my 2 cp.

"You know, for a set of armor DESIGNED with cerics and paladins in mind, it kinda stinks." Sadly that's not true. This armor was designed for SKs (well, not the quellious imbued variety, but you get the drift) and palies. Clerics aren't even a factor. This is because Eru shadow knights and palies are the worst of their kind in the game without doubt, whereas Eru clerics are only the second worst clerics in the game (but not by much). However, i do agree with your point, this should be a little better for clerics. next time you're on, do a /who all count eru pal, /who all count eru shadow, and /who all count eru cleric. you'll probably get equally low numbers of each. Erudite clerics are a very rare bunch. I should know, i play one :-)

Actually, Erudite paladins got screwed out of 5 base stats points from creation.

If you do some looking, you'll see that all erudites (except shadowknights) get exactly 580 combined points for their stats. SK's get 575.

It's the only class I've found that isn't balanced with the rest of their race.

Tellernar what are you talking about? Erudite shadow kinghts far from suck on xegony we had an sk botb here awhile back. Guess who won? An Erudite. He beat out a troll to win the finals. Look at how many dark elf shadow kinghts there are and they have pretty similar melee stats. There is far more to a shadow knight then melee stats.

Sorry if this sounds like a flame, but I keep hearing that erudites make terrible shadow knights and paladins. Ask Pane (I think that was his name) on Xegony what he thinks about his erudite shadowknight if you don't believe me.
