I've never seen a pair of these, of course i dont go around inspecting every fellow shaman in the game, thats just rude, but for the raw stats on this line of armor make these a definate article of gear that i will soon seek after. does anyone know what they look like?

lol, I'm half Irish. Whenever my grandmother caught my sister and me causing trouble, she;d say 'Stop your shenannigans!'. It seems like these were named with Barbarian shamans in mind :)

why do they make this uber armor chargeable?
Having a pair of these gauntlets would make me cry with joy. That is without a doubt the most hilarious name for an item. Stats are pretty good, as well, as I am under the understanding that hand wisdom items are hard to find (maybe that is just for clerics, though).

Yes, there are several decent gloves for clerics with wis, but until velious opened, there was nothing. Splitpaw gloves were worn till you had 200+ wis. so the guy's just a bit behind, or maybe hasn't bought Velious, either way, my point is, velious added all the wis gloves you speak of, and pre velious, we were all looking for wis gloves with decent ac.

Hard to find cleric wis gloves?
Gauntlets of the Black, usually about 8 pairs on sale in EC (plate classes)
Coldain Skin Gloves being farmed out the wazoo on a lot of servers (all/all)
Those are just the two that I've owned and can think of off the top of my head. Gaunts of the Black are an outstanding option for their usual selling price, and coldain gloves have unstoppable wis/mana stats for a droppable item.

I agree with Maladamuk also. Gaunts of the Black are so easy to get nowadays its nbot even funny and the price on them is slowly but steadily dropping. The coldain skin gloves are nice to but kinda pricey. BTW Hey Maladamuk, lol haven't seen you since that one day in Hand room when i was lvl 46.
I agree with Maladamuk. For clerics at least, since they can wear plate +WIS hands are not that hard to find, +3WIS gloves are going for 1k or less (GotB) and the Coldain Skin Gloves that are 6 or 8 WIS(?) go for about 6k, so if you have some cash it can be fairly easy to afford this stuff. Just my 2cp
