I just got this robe over the weekend...its awesome. I don't care what its called; I finally got it. This robe is the reason I came to PoM. The only complaint (minor at that) I do have, is the lack of STA. I got used to the STA on my last robe, but again, this is IMO the best robe a Wizard can get outside of the FT# and the PoP Ornate/Elemental robes. With that in mind...anyone wanna buy a Robe of Haunted Dreams on TP? Send me a tell if you're interested.
Which items do you combine with the Wily Warlock Doll to get this robe?
I started this quest awhile back...my HD got fried...and now Ive TOTALLY forgotten where I was and what I need to do.

This robe is pretty sweet, my wizard has had one since lvl 55 and there really isnt anything better till Sal'Varea's Robe of Darkness. Only downside to this robe is no effect, would be much better with FT 1 or something on it, or better yet, a dd effect =)

Well Verant didn't exactly make it easy to get this now did they?
First get through Siren's Grotto, Then navigate the Western Wastes. Opps, now into the Temple of Veeshan and go All the way to the back.
Okay now you are on the plane of Mischief. Oh, you died in Siren's Grotto? Well then it is Thurgaiden Armor for you.
/sigh well I can count on playing my 51 wizzy for another year before I can get to PoM. By then Orcs in West Freeport will be dropping better stuff.

Perhaps this is an nice way Verant gave poor wizzies of hinding from port hounds. An Anon Wiz ports in, the port hound inspecs and sees Wily Warlock equipment. "Ahh, just a stoopid necro", they think.
Warlock is male witch. A witch/warlock is a combo wizard/necro, so it could be either

Actually warlock is old Gaelic for an oath breaker. It was used when reffering to Scottish soldiers who betrayed the Irish in some of their wars with the english. The scottish also used it for the irish for the same reasons. however, over time the word has be perverted to mean a male witch. I would just like to point out that the word "witch" has no relation to gender. a male and female can both be a witch. kinda the same thing with the word demon. in old greek it was spelled daemon and meant of or having divine power. therefore, if we were to still use that meaning, all of our deities are demonic and not those little imps that are supposedly in Satan's command are just that...little imps not demons

I may be wrong but i believe a warlock is a Evil male wizard not a necromancer

Supposed to be, but necros get the title of warlock sometime in their 50's. *shrug*
Warlock is the level 60 title for Necromancers.

Don't forget the necros' Thurg quest armor entitled Warlock's armor. Hehe silly me, I clicked on the new items link for this expecting to see a new uber necro robe and think "Wait a second.... that's a high elf!" and realise it's a wizard robe.
