I have the 3 pieces but can't do the final combine.. is it because I am Karana and not Tunare ?

Any potter can make this following the basic deity formula. The only difference is the imbued gem involved, here, this would be an Imbued Emerald. All of the deity idols are trivial over 208 according to EQ Traders. However, you need an enchanter to make a large block of enchanted clay and a vial of clear mana, an idol sketch, sculpting tools, and the Imbued gem in a pottery wheel. For all deities, this gives you an unfired idol. Combine the unfired idol with a HQ firing sheet and divine crystalline glaze in a "Glaze Mortar" (not the kiln like other pottery recipes). You also need a rogue to make the divine glaze.

Of course, all of this info is already available at EQ Traders.

I have made one of these for a friend on Cazic-Thule. My skill is 190, and I am a druid of Karana.

You are incorrect about the combining in the Glaze Mortar.

You need the Glaze Mortar to make the Divine Crystalline Glaze, not to fire the Idol. To make the divine glaze combine Iron Oxide, Permafrost Crystals, and White Lead (which is made in Mortar and Pestal by combining Lead Sulfide and Limestone)- oh and flask of water.

The Unfired Idol, HQ Firing sheet and the Divine Crystalline Glaze go in the Kiln to make the finished Idol.

I make these on Drinal.

I make these on the Drinal Server. Just send a tell or email me and we'll set up a time to meet.
I try to keep one made up at all times.
(I actually equip one of these myself as a Cleric of Tunare and so if I say I don't have one made remind me I've got that one equipped.)
I just forget where it is.
(Don't laugh you should see the chaos that is a master potters inventory!)

All deities except Veeshan have idols, all with different stats.
question
# Jul 03 2001 at 9:20 PM Rating: Decent
is there an idol for every god i need a tribunal one badly
RE: question
# Jul 04 2001 at 9:58 AM Rating: Decent
The tribunal may not have an idol but we do have jewelry; Imbued Ivory Jewelry is prob the nicest I hav ever owned
RE: question
# Jul 26 2001 at 5:09 PM Rating: Decent
The Tribunal does have an idol, its a 3wis 2str idol too. If you are on povar, give me a tell, i can make one for you.

Note: Trivial is 188+
# Jul 03 2001 at 7:24 AM Rating: Decent
Just a note, been doing my pottery to make these. Am at 168 so far. 0 fot 6 tunare ones.

Just a few pieces of info if you dont read up on eqtraders:

1) trivial is past 188, at least 200+
2) the potter can be ANY religion (or none), diety check is ONLY for user, not maker

SO go luck to all and i guess i see some of you in unrest with me camping zombies etc for skins... heheh

what slot is "HELD"?
# Jul 03 2001 at 3:18 AM Rating: Decent
prety sure I've never seen it before (mebe just never read close). is that glove slot or what?
RE: what slot is
# Oct 27 2001 at 5:42 PM Rating: Good
Held means its put in a melee slot but isn't a weapon. ie Stein of Mogguk , Spirit Tome, Book of Obulus etc

I'm GUESSING 'HELD' means either melee. But it'd be nice to know for certain...

#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 05 2001 at 10:03 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Bah. I'm level freaking 53 now. Really must change my signature. Oh, well. I'll do it -later-. (View the amazingness of a PROCRASTINATOR! Woot!)
RE: what slot is

Held means, I think, that it is like putting a greater lightstone in a general inventory slot (e.g. NOT in a bag). It would be more like strapping the thing to your belt.
Where's da BB?
# Jul 02 2001 at 8:39 PM Rating: Decent
*sigh* never a blasted Bristlebane wisdom item for clerics. Guess my halfling cleric is condemned to CAMP stuff =P
RE: Where's da BB?
# Jul 03 2001 at 2:58 PM Rating: Decent
Yes, I hear you Brother. Damn Bristlebane items are AGI, DEX I think or else AGI, STA.

You can still use the good old generic Small Wisdom Deity though until you get your Totem of the Warrior Spirits, Medicine Totem or Seal of Thoridain or comparable item.

# Jul 02 2001 at 11:57 PM Rating: Default
Yes, there is a Bristlebane Idol...

Just go to www.eqtraders.com and look it up there.

But it has no wisdom to it, that was what his complaint was. I have a gnomish cleric of BB and have the same complaint, but ah well, the god doesn't value wisdom too highly so it makes sense :)
Where?
# Jul 02 2001 at 4:04 PM Rating: Default
Anyone know where the sketch is for this? Going to try the usual pottery vendors...
RE: Where?
# Jul 02 2001 at 5:40 PM Rating: Good
Yes, right next to the small deity sketches...
RE: Where?
# Jul 03 2001 at 12:50 PM Rating: Decent
check eqtraders.com

This isn't made the same way as the old small protection/wisdom deities, the imbued idols require an elaborate mix of rogue-made items, glazes, etc. in addition to the imbued gem.
