This does still drop! And it's also Bst useable. (forgot to check to see if BZK's could use)

Monday July 22, 2002 Vulak Aerr Killed by Afterlife
#REDACTED, Posted: Mar 05 2002 at 7:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) ok you idiots whoever said this guy has only been killed once on all servers needs to go away. i play on Terris Thule server and Valon (uber, i repeat uber guild) kills him whenever he is up since they are the only guild on the server that can. plus i just witnessed several magelo accounts with these listed as their belt. so get the facts straight before you say anything this guy is not that tough he falls quite easily to valon quite frequently.

Legions of darkness has killed him on inny. I have seen at least one rogue with his dagger an a couple others with his drops I'm pretty sure they have killed him more then once. LoD also beat FoH in the ToT /shrugs

I remember seeing Harmonium on Xev raid ToV a few times by themselves, dont know what they were killing but my friend I was talking to said they were killing the boss dragon, which I assume was Aulek'Aerr. It was the first part of july so I figure they looted this stuff too, just a thought.

The haste on this belt is 41%
RE: Haste on this?
# Oct 03 2001 at 8:08 PM Rating: Default
Here is this uber haste belt, arguably one of the best melee belts in the game, and guess what the haste is? ZERO...that's right, ZERO. It's supposed to be 40% but I wanted to verify that, so I did a one hour test, 30 minutes with the Cord on, 30 minutes without the Cord on. Result = NO haste. So I contacted Verant and to their credit someone in Testing got back to me and told me they fixed it on the Test Server, and that in the next full items patch it would be fixed on the live servers.

people... this isn't fake
# Jul 03 2001 at 3:25 AM Rating: Default
people you claim stuff is fake, have you been to tov? have you tried to get past aaryonar? the stuff is hard... harder than you can imagine. if you've not even done tov entrance, you cannot begin to understand the quick fiery death you would experience to these creatures. ;)

Monk Item (Really a monk is wearing it)
# Jul 01 2001 at 4:57 PM Rating: Default
For everyone's information this item drops off Vulak'Aeer. Vulak is the head boss in ToV, and has only been killed once (on all servers). This Badass was taken down by the combined forces of FoH and Cestus Dei. Yes you heard me right it took more firepower than Fires of Heaven has to take this mob down. To quote Furor off the Fires homepage (foh.noows.com) "The actual fight with this beast lasted over 14 mins and took an INCREDIBLE force to complete. Don't ask me what that means, just know that the amount of firepower we dumped in him would have killed Statue of Zek four times over...." The drops were an incredible caster arm piece (Kelciferous' Armband of Artistry), the best rogue weapon currently in the game (Mrylokar's Dagger of Blood), and a decent belt (Feeliux's Cord of Velocity). If anyone else kills Vulak before the Luclin expansion I for one will be amazed. Afterlife may be a guild with comparable firepower to FoH, but they will need help from other guilds (just like FoH did) before they could take Vulak down. But thats just my opinion. BTW the arms were given to Zamtil (enchanter), Dagger was given to Ruluvien (Rogue), and the belt went to Daahound (Monk).

Just so you know Naddur we didnt need help from any other guilds for any of those mobs nor have we ever had or needed help to kill anything. Just a lil FYI while i read the boards...

Funny...the Furor quote you gave was the exact same quote I read from him when FoH and CD took down Tunare. Strange.
Feeliux the Person
# Jul 01 2001 at 8:49 AM Rating: Default
Yep... Feeliux was the head gm on Quellious for a bit. :) I don't know what happened to him, but he left pretty quick (was less than six months that he served as head GM). He was an awesome gm, if only because he (unlike most gms) didn't assume automatically that you were trying to scam him. :) He more than deserves this item named after him, and I hope whoever is wearing it from FoH knows something about the guy behind it, and wears it with pride. :)

Hahaha! FoH wearing something with pride? They are all just a bunch of stuck up arogant bastards. I wish they were capable of showing respect but we all know that wont happen. They dont deserve something like this.

They're gamers, just like you. It wasn't like when Furor called out loot people turned up their lips and sneered, "Oh, how quaint. Good loot for a change." People were yelling, having a blast at doing something for the first time ever, and getting items that were just mind-bogglingly good. Most of FoH is thrilled with the new items from ToV, and pretty happy with the game right now.
GM names?
# Jun 30 2001 at 5:16 PM Rating: Decent
Maybe it's just me, but it seems Verant is naming a bunch of these newer items after old GMs on different servers. As far as I remember, Feeliux was the head GM on my server, Quellious, at one point in time. Just thought it was something that bears mention, maybe they are starting to acknowledge the vast amount they owe people who take the ever-stressfull job of running an entire server heh. I could be wrong but this is what I remember. Happy hunting!

Not likley
# Jun 29 2001 at 5:40 PM Rating: Default
Not to say i don't understand what you are saying, but first.. it wouldn't be normal for FoH to fake a item, and frankly..i think this is verants way of "balancing" the 2 sides you can take (coldain/dragon or giant)...not looking at the quest for peeps on CoV faction in ToV, if you take the giant's faction, you have A)More hunting areas B)better quest armor and some would say C) a better town....many people where upset verant made it almost impossible for people on CoV faction to even hunt the non-named dragons/drakes in WW..and being KOS to mobs on faction you are ally with. Also, us on CoV faction cannot hunt in any area but the HoT in ToV, otherwise we get faction hits (not a big deal for claws of veeshan faction..but yelinik is not something you wanna trash if you take your whole dragon loving thing seriously :) and we can't hunt in the the forbidden area which is where a lot of good drops are comming from, so it wasn't supprising to see that very good quest were being put in for people on CoV faction..like 30ac shoulders, a 30ac belt... et al. It'ld wager a hefty sum this is a recently added quest item...but then again, i might be wrong

How did they expect an Ogre/Troll to fit in Thurgadin?
And before you flame me:
Not everyone can afford a cobalt bracer...
Sure, shamans can shrink, but theres not really alot of shamans in here, so as a warrior you're screwed unless you have cobalt.
A shaman fits...
A shadowknight is screwed altogether...
This being if the character does not have a mask that gives a smaller illusion or an Amulet of Necroptence

if this is from the places where you get a faction hit thats cool, if you have seen the quest items that come from the dragons, the quest drops are from the halls of testing..., they are just as powerful as the item drops and just as rare, im sure this is nowhere near a common drop.

Keep it up you guys.. i wanna get 56 more and more so that i can go too.

ToV is one of the hardest zones in the game. At least VI is practicing what they preach... Risk over Reward.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 29 2001 at 5:18 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) is it just me or have the latest ToV items that have been added in seem _VERY_ uber, i mean
RE: Hmmm...
# Jun 30 2001 at 1:56 PM Rating: Decent
Also, adding to Tehom's post, a fair deal of the other items dropped in ToV do not justify at all Risk vs Reward. A fair deal of the items are absolute junk (well, comparitively to the risk it takes to get it).

I'm glad that Verant did make Vulak'Aerr's drops nice. Tehom, do you know anything about how many items Vulak dropped though?

Well, last patch they upgraded most of the rewards for the items off dragons in the north wing of ToV. The three items you mention are all dropped by the boss of the zone, Vulak'Aerr, who was killed for the first time ever just a few days ago.
