int for non casters
# Jul 12 2002 at 3:16 AM Rating: Decent
all classes can use int.. it makes your skills go up faster. a real bonus when youre trying to get your 2hs over 180. heh
#REDACTED, Posted: Aug 01 2001 at 6:57 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) this bracer is good for int items because as you can see it boosts int. my mage had this bracer untill he was lvl 34 and got a better one
RE: great for int itmes

That's a neat trick considering Mages can't wear it...

I guess you fail to realize that not only mages use int....
the classes that use int and can wear this item are: Bard and SK, both need int for mana, nuff said
Very Low Drop Rate

I've camped the Guardians of T'Vyl in Befallen from TWO days now--I've killed hundreds of them and have seen exactly ONE drop, some Pristine Studded Arms. Unless they increase the drop rates, don't bother going there with the hopes of getting any gear. That place is extremely dangerous now and very hard to keep under control even with the help of a high 40s healer!

Most of T'vyl's folks would be Shadowknights, so this makes perfect sense.
+INT?

Does a leather bracer with +Int seem kinda silly? Most casters that can wear this use WIS... strange

SK's and Bards use INT for mana. Other than that, it is good for those using INT for tradeskills.

Um no, Bards use Wis for mana.

Bards use int for mana.
Only the higher of wis or int matters for trade skills (out of the two stats). If a class has a mana pool, then the stat that determines the size of the mana pool should already be higher--and thus the stat that is used for trade skills--so trade skills are not a reason to boost the other stat. If you don't have a mana pool, then maybe +3 int might be slightly useful for trade skills...

I may be wrong but I thought that Bards didn,t use mana!

Bards use mana for two songs:

39-Solon's Bewitching Bravura..."Target: Charm (Limited to mobs your level or 51st whichever is lower)", costs 20 mana

43-Denon's Desperate Dirge..."Non-party: AE DD" for "311 + 2 @ 44 + (lvl-44)*10?" damage, costs 800 mana
