You will need to make special preparations for the metal used in this Atheme. Using only a small brick of high quality ore, melt it in a forge with the venom sack from a mesa recluse, and some slime from an earthen ooze. Allow this to cool naturally.
Once you have your steel, melt this in a thin blade mold, and again allow it to cool naturally.
Finally, wrap a snake skin around the hilt and attach two large snake fangs to the cross guards.
This should give you a Atheme with bite.
