Stats on this are pretty sweet. But as for the effect, if you have ever seen one in use... 16 seconds lasts a LOOONNNNGGGGG time. then you have to cast it again... and again... and again... to go from 73% to 100 if that is your goal.
Stat wise... this is a sweet tunic though.
But if you have it... you will not think of it as a type of regen bp... more of a healing option if you reallllly need it. or are out of bandaids.
Again, Soop, as with the grandmaster's.... you're wrong. i have friends who have golden star chest wraps, and friends with grand master's the effect takes FIFTEEN seconds to cast.
Just wanted to point out that you really can't compare this tunic to the standing regen with a fungi.
If you're going to compare this to a fungi you have to compare a 100hp heal in 15s vs 15hp regen every 6s. You are still gaining the benefit of your AA and Base regen even with this tunic. Therefore with this tunic you're getting 40hp a tick, vs the 14 from a fungi.
A fungi is useable in battle however, so that makes it very nice. And not just in solo, but also when you're getting ae'd etc.
fungi is 15hp every 6 seconds not 14... that extra 1hp can add up... thats an extra 10hp a minute, an extra 600hp an hour... so yeah, it adds up... its 15hp not 14. just clarifying that.
Depending on how heavy their weapon(s) are, monks do lose some of their stamina bar, but they do not lose as much per swing as other classes, and they regain their stamina bar faster than other melees.
My 31 human monk currently wields 2 weapons weighing 2 stones each, and I lose less than 1 bubble of stamina per fight when soloing. However, I regain the whole bubble 1 tick after the fight.
Fungi is by far one of the best tunics you can find for a monk, especially if your the solo type. But for ppl like me, i dont have cash to get a fungi. Fungi's go for 80-85k on my server (E'ci) which, i know, i complete ********* Myconid king is hard to take down, so i wont be camping him soon. This, i have raided enuf times to get my gems, all i need is the st00pid tunic from WToV. So i'll be getting this WAY before i get a fungi, so its worth keeping for a bit.
Ok, my reasoning for this being better then fungi. If you have a weapon that procs (t-staff myself) then why would I want a tunic that takes away 10 points of agi and dex? I have the lord BOB tunic from Velks right now so I have I think 16 more points more towards proc then when I was using a friends Fungi. And YES there is a BIGGGGG difference. With my 195 dex I proc all the time, when it was 179 my proc was rare at best. Going from one proc a fight to five is well worth it when soloing in velks.
on my server, i know of perhaps 5 fungi tunics. seb is NEVER hunted, only raided, which means .. there are no fungi tunics floating around. with this in mind, i look at the effect on this thing. with a 14.5 second casting time, it is ROUGHLY 33hp/tick regen, standing (YES I ******* KNOW IT DOSENT HELP YOU WHEN YOUR FIGHTING, IM NOT SAYING ITS BETTER THEN THE FUNGI TUNIC). if your one of the higher level monks who only uses their fungi for downtime (psc for combat perhaps) then this would be almost as good as that. personally i'd rather have a fungi then this, only because this is alot easier to get (on my server, like i said).
Whats easier to get the kael the golden star chestwraps or the fungis tunic I don't mean you go out and buy the tunic I mean camp it and loot the tunic

The effect for monks is (in my opinion) quite useless. Monks post 50 with a 201+ bind wound skill can bandage 80+ hp per bandage, and can usually do it 2 times at least by the time 1 casting of this goes off, all the way up to 70%. And if you're like most monks at that level, chances are they have a fungi or (in an Iksar's case) have a very high natural regen rate (somewhere around 16 at lvl 60 while sitting for Iksars).

I saw a monk soloing with this and a tranquil staff he was able to use the ability multiple times throughout the battle and it helped him a lot
Invigorate is a 100 point self heal.. invigor will restore your sta.. this chest piece has Invigorate on it, therefore it's the heal spell :) with 0 channelling.. I'd like to see you use an item with a 10 second cast time in the middle of a fight.. trust me, he wasn't casting off this item in the middle of the fight.. I believe there's a pair of boots that drop in velks lab in velious with a sta restore spell of some sort on it.. the t-staff also has a proc on it.. so it was most likely one of these that you saw during the fight.. as for regen? EVERYONE gains more regen as they level, at 20, 50, I believe 51 as well, and 56, then again at 60.. trolls and iksar start off with more regen per tick, and end up with more get higher than level 19 before you start to assume so much about the game :)
sorry im dumb and havent seen this on iksar monks i know what it looks like on humans can anyone tell me what it looks like on iksat like cab scale sept golden?
Sorry to say, I think some of you post just to see a higher post count.
Invigorate is a 100 hp heal that can only be cast on the wearer. Noone else. AND it's a slow cast as well so it's not going to happen during a fight. Don't confuse "Invigorate" with "Vigor" which restores stamina along the lines of the Extinguish Fatigue line of spells.
Whether they lose much stamina, I'm really not sure, but the question is irrelevant here because Invigorate is actually a 100pt self only heal :) I'm not sure if it even restores lost stamina, although it seems likely.
As far as I know, only stamina restored from this effect is gotten while standing still for 14 seconds waiting for it to finish casting. =) This is on all the Rogue/Warrior/Monk/SK chest pieces in SoV (3 quest and PoG, that is). Don't think other classes get the effect on their BP.
Aye, I am not familiar with the Invigorate effect, but everyone commenting (my erstwhile guildmate included! nyah) is confusing it with the spell Invigor. Could be that this is a variant or higher level version, but hell, I'm having no luck finding it on Caster's Realm as a standard spell for any class, so I'm gonna take your word for it. =)

I don't play a monk, and this is a serious question about them...
Do monks really need invigorate? I realize that you can use this to cast on others (least, I'm pretty sure you can), but does a monk ever lose stamina from fighting?
Yes, this shows my lack of knowledge of monks, but I don't even get much of a chance to GROUP with them either.
none taken BTW, but so you know if this did replace STA.. for any monk who has a haste item they know that the sta bar drops FAST, because you're hitting so much you get tired.
The effect on this "Breastplate" is not a stamina refresher, its a little heal. Useful for soloing to a certain degree. Same effect on Cobalt and velious high end breastplates.
Kael arms are 11 ac 4 str 4 dex 2 sta 35 hp and 2 to all saves. Maybe the crap from Thurgadin or Pog is 6 ac, but not kael... Actually All kael pieces are double digit AC except the helm. Arms 11 Legs 11 Boots 10 Bracers 10 Gloves 13 Tunic 23 Headband 9
