I received a coin from Firiona Vie the other night in skyfire after helping her kill an Ogre shaman possessed by the spirit of Cazic Thule. It was a BLAST! I had one of the best time's I've ever had playing EQ. The GM quest team made it interesting, and almost everyone present seemed to really get into the event.

I guess I did something right, because Firiona gave me a coin I turned in for this earring. Also, when I turned it in, the NPC announced to the zone that my name was recorded on the eternal registry for the Hall of Heroes.

Nice item! Grats to who got one!

Guys, GROW UP! This set of spams I have seen on the only three items I looked at tonight is probably the most childish thing I have run across to date in my two years of playing EQ. My friends FOUR YEAR OLD acts better than this!

In all but one of the GM events I have participated in, only the highest 5 characters present received an award. At the other one, the reward was a star ruby handed out to each participant. That last one, roleplaying was essential, but at the others, you are all just spectators.

that is a nice item.....just like stuffing a testament of vanear in your ear...does everyone get a coin at the end of the GM event? I have never been to one, but I know that theres a NPC in RV who wants a hero coin....

Nice earring, but too bad all GM stuff is always no drop. GM events are unique and happen only once. All of them are different. They usually like it if you roleplay 100% of the time the GM is in the zone. Also don't flood the zone with silly comments. Wish you luck on getting an item at an event!

I got one of these as well - turned in one of those 'hero coins' you get from GMs at the end of a GM event and my reward was this fine earring.
You don't need Velious to get it - it does not drop off of any creature.
