i'd take this anyday i'm a halfling cleric and its my first char when i was creating i spread all my points out insteadof into wisdom so i have a low base wis of 95. I like the 4 wisdom on this thing its the same as my bloodstained but with an additional 90 mana i'd take this in a heart beat Salanan 40 cleric - Tunare

Does anybody have a confirmation who drops this? Or is it like Sebilate scale stuff that drops off yard fodder and if I kill enough stuff it will eventually show up in my inventory? I am working on resist gear which is a pain in the butt for druids and this has more wisdom than what I wear now and mana and SVM!!! WOOT, so if anybody knows or has seen multiple times from different spots please enlighten us. Thanks.

Dartain the Lost, who is a very unknown mob cause he isn't real easy to find. As you are looking at the front of the ghost tower in The Hole. You walk in, Turn left. This will put you in the CY. There are some stairs in teh back. Down those and at the end of a hall is a rock that a rock has to open. He is behind that. Confirmed, as I raid nearly every week for people's epics. We kill him and give the shield to the clerics, and the WL Tunic to the druids.
The only thing of real value on this is the Resist and Mana. I switch out my Withered and my Shroud depending if I need Magic or Fire/Cold resist.
I was an Old School druid from back before we found out all other stats besides WIS are useless for us so I only have 100 base WIS. I've never really found a need for Armor Class like Shaman do so a Tree Weave is useless to me. Druids just don't generate the Hate like the other priests do even with our Big DoT's and chain Chloroblasts. When not needing Resists, I wear my Vermi Tunic for everyday fighting for the WIS. At least until I can get my Rowyl's, then I can sell my Withered for a nice profit. Damn Eroded Tunic just will NOT drop. The nice WIS, Mana and the couple resists on Rowyl's let you max out resists or Mana on other item locations very nicely.

This is a great item for druids....but hehe, i bet ya a shroud of nature is easier to camp than this is.
I wear an ulthork tunic at the moment for 2 reasons; 1) i like the look...my wis is at 202 so i can wear just about anything i want for a BP. 2) the manna....after 200 wis i started looking for items that have manna....after seeing my selection and what kinda wis i would have to give up for most of them i have started collecting wis & manna items.
so what i am saying is....if this looked like the regular leather graphic for halflings ya can keep it but if it has a diff graphic that looks cool count me in for the next hole raid baby WooHoo

I was on the raid when this drops, it dropped off a named mob in the left graveyard - forget the name he is a erudite. Also dropped a book that is great for necros - Basically a spirit tomb with lots of negative stats but some mana. The room he is in is locked - have to have a rogue pick it to pull him. Easy to kill. Hope this helps- left graveyard behind locked door - erudite guy.

As the other posters pointed out, correctly, this is NOT a very good piece for the effort required to get it. However, its great to farm for your alternate. I would suggest that, although Withered Leather can be worn by Clerics, and Shamen, its obviously intended for Druids. The other nice thing for those of us who like uniformity or the people I term "fashion Nancies", who care more about appearance than maxing their efficiency, is that Withered Leather is a complete suit. Including face, neck, shoulders, back and waist pieces. Only other suit I am aware of like that is Sebilite scalemail.

Sorry don't intend to flame anyone but hey you should consider that geting this kind of stats on a chest item (for a druid) requires doing a velious quest bp or camp Hate for endless hours and weeks.

Posted: Jun 20 2001 at 12:36 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) you are crazy man, druids completly suck and they know it, thats why they dont buff you in a group, cause they know they suck, if you dont have a shaman in your group then the only reason for a druid is str buff, and that wont help you proc one bit, most of the time if you are in a decent group, and druid throws on a dot... the mob dies b4 the dot is half gone anyway

Actually, I would like this item on my level 52 druid. He is using a Tree Weave now for AC, but the 90 mana is excelent, and 10 SvM is really handy. After I bring myself down to 200 WIS, I will also have a slot or two free for AC, mana or resist items.

at the lvl when you can get this you will be ind need of more AC than this tunic gives...the mana on it is nice but as shaman you really should be using atleast a froglok scale BP by the time you can get this...this is proly best for druids as they dont(or shoulden) get hit as much as a shaman
Pretty damn cool for a Druid, though. You're talking about a class here that wears a Foreman's tunic (Ac 10) for most of their career, this has one more AC, one more wisdom, and 90 mana to boot. Sure, there's better out there (mostly quest armor, and/or Kunark armor,) but they're very tough to get.
Of course, I don't know exactly how tough this is to get, either...

Clerics get a the purple bp in PoH and by the time you can actually camp this a cleric would probably have the bp. The bp has 15 wisdom and some mana too I think so its MUCH better than this. Looks nice for any class that can use but I'd give to a druid or maybe even a shaman since from what I have seen it looks hard for shamans to make 200 wisdom anyway. So 90 more mana would be nice.
As a cleric, yes EM or other planar is better. Atm the moment though I would defintely wear this. But if druid was on the raid, I would let druid have it. Druids are like roaches in fear, hard to get in little lone get drops. Shaman, AC way too low. Not that hard to get high wis, but hey they get Cann to get mana back and regen to get back hp. Buff, slow, get pounded. Hmm. Think 1 or 2 less spells worth of mana is worth sacrificing for 10+ ac.

Hmm, I play a druid often, never get hit. So the AC really don't matter to me. 4 Wis & 90 mana is excellent and 10 sv magic is a plus. Heh, more mana to kite with!

nice upgrade to vermi mana wise, but you would lose ac and a nice look but the 4wis 90mana is about the same at 13wis, and since its so damn easy to get to 200wis id probably wear this over vermi.. but vermi has much better AC and str/stam/resists

this item is great not becourse of the wis but this can be a nice item if you got over 200 wis and you now look for res and wis 10 mag resist and 90 mana and get 11 ac and 4 mana free.
