Class update

The class useable list needs to be updated a bit. It is useable by all chain and plate class: WAR, CLR, PAL, RNG, SHD, BRD, ROG, SHM, and BER. THe picture is also a bit out of date not showing berserker as useable class. I can confirm these classes I listed can use this armor today.

And since no rec. or req. level as of today, probably the best twink armor in game.

This was cool in its day, but it has been severely outclassed now. Numerous chain-class tunics are much better, much easier to get, or both.

Times are certainly changing.
I guess that's good! :)

RE: Outdated
# Dec 22 2003 at 5:39 PM Rating: Decent
True but...

This is 'twink gear' now.

It has NO level limit on it so you gain full benefits at level 1 vs other tunics.

It took me a few looks at it in bazaar, wondering why the thing was so expensive vs other BP's now... Then I noticed the lack of recommended and required levels...

Funny

Its funny that all you post about wanting it and ***** about how you cant use it, or its for this class vs that class or NBG and such, when what we really want to hear is WHAT THE HELL DROPED IT? Where did it spawn? What lvl? etc... Thats what we need to know!
RE: Funny
# Apr 03 2002 at 11:12 AM Rating: Default
It's posted who drops it at the top of the page and which zone, just like all the other 50,000 items on the Allakhazam Website.
RE: Funny
# Jul 31 2004 at 6:46 PM Rating: Decent
another thing is ... Mjolinir might mean LOC of mobs, strategy to kill, guess at numbers it takes ...

All in all ... how to get the item ... not just useless rants and arguments

Those who clicked this name probably want the item ... not hear people complain...
RE: Funny
# Jun 04 2002 at 2:42 AM Rating: Default
actually not all the 50,000 items listed on this site do list at the top what dropped and where.
#REDACTED, Posted: Nov 03 2002 at 12:58 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) True Xabba, but...this one does and dumb asses should read it when they do list it. =)

Just be thankful it weighs 5.5 or the noob monks would be whining too.

He left out bard. I was about to get upset. I checked other sites though and all the other peices say bard. So all you bards out there never fear this pic is wrong. Go to eqlizer for the correct info.
hmmm

Strange thing is that the other Dragonhide armors are wearable by more classes...ROG, SHM and what not...wonder why they changed it for this particular one.

Clerical equipment
# Jun 25 2001 at 12:44 AM Rating: Default
You do realize that clerics are PLATE classes..This means we roll against warriors/SK's/pallies for our armor.. This makes some of the SoV quests very difficult. not to mention the lack of drops for the SoV armor. Let whomever wants to roll roll. If it's a guild event and they're powerful enough to take WW or Zlandicar then I'm sure they've got a loot order figured out already.
RE: Clerical equipment
# Dec 22 2003 at 6:18 PM Rating: Default
And you do realize that second to Warriors only, Clerics get plate drops more often and before any other plate class.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 20 2001 at 11:52 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) any caster i know would bag there SkyShrine armor for this look at the resists and mana for casters and look at the resists for warrior types. I play a 57 warrior on fennin ro verant really did make it for any class who can use this. 34ac is as much as any hate bp (exclude warriors) but has way better stats. when you actually go on your ToV raids armor doesnt matter all you want is resist gear/resists. It goes with almost all dragons. ToV/WW have dragons with 1200dmg+ AE and they get even worse in ToV. If resists werent needed as they were blue diamond gear would be worth 1/2 to 1/3 of what it really is, but since its soooo necasary to have resists this bp is good for anyone who can use so dont ohh ohh my (insert class name) can use it also ******* annoying posts OHH OHH GIVE TO ME MY MONK/SHAMAN are you guys wlj] stupid can you not read i guess some people are just sdkf' idiots

One race of clerics can quest an item that has a clickable snare type effect on it, so in that perticular case they wouldn't have to be worried.
RE: your perfect group
# Jun 13 2002 at 12:31 PM Rating: Default
hehe quite a small chance of that item being present within any given group though.
RE: your perfect group

It's a dark elf cleric newbie quest. I can't think of one dark elf cleric that I know who doesn't have it; it's just too valuable to have. Kinda surprised that they haven't gotten rid of it though with how they love to ***** around with things.
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 20 2001 at 6:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) prfect groups ddont matter...as u should know everyone plays game for enjoyment ..im a ranger and know how to play my class well ...and i would like this bp for myself...and seing as shamans cant waer it i /e ponder whats goin on with u...YOU IDIOT
#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 17 2001 at 11:59 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I really think everyone ******** about clerics or shammies getting the bp are nothing more then greedy bastards. if any class can use an item they are entitled to get it no matter what.. need not greed.. it has great stats for any class. Hell even if say a necro could use i woudl want this because of other added stats.. soo stop and think of how greedy you sound when you say I'm a ranger "whine whine" we have no good armor out there "whine whine" get off your lazy *** and be a player.. its not the armor or weapons that make a player its their skill all else only adds to their resourcefulness. not to mention if i was in a group and this bp helped my shammy or cleric stay alive alittle longer because of the added AC and sweet stats.. then all the better its called working as a team. So for all you tanks ********** remember who needs the added mana to buff your *** and needs the added AC because you cant do your job and keep mobs off the cleric or Shammy because your a lazy tank and cant do your job. final point: this is a sweet bp and anyone who can use it should.
forgot...

oh, and this item on a lvl 50'ish cleric is roughly 14wis, due to the +mana aspect, which is S W E E T btw.
80 mana is amazing :)
RE: forgot...
# Jan 26 2002 at 5:43 AM Rating: Decent
LMAO you can't even cast greater healing with 80 mana. :p

# Jun 16 2001 at 6:37 AM Rating: Decent
I think this would be good for rogues, seeing as they have a small lack of good ac armour out there. There was Royal Velium Frosted, but they cant equip. THIS is lighter, better stats, equippable and better AC (which is the best of all those). Behind them I think clerics might benefit from this as well. Before someone goes off on how we can just quest for better armour, know this. When plate drops in ToV, it goes to the tanks, cause they need it more. Plain and Simple. I'll take the leavins (i'm a cleric) and I have no problem with getting leftovers, cause tanks taking less damage = a good thing :)

Greed
# Jun 16 2001 at 5:18 AM Rating: Decent
For the "uber" monks and shamans who've posted about this item...

LOOK AT THE GRAPHIC!

Usable by Ranger, Cleric, Paladin, Shadowknight, Rogue, Warrior. ONLY.

Jeez... one little typo and your greed triggers fire immediately without even LOOKING. Oh! Weight less than 10 and has some AC? "Oh - they made this for monks!" Looks like some form of banded/chain variant? "Oh! They made this for Shamans!"

You people disgust me. Verant made this item for the people that can use it. ALL OF THEM!

If only people had to pass an IQ test before they played this game... it'd be ever so much more interesting not to have to put up with the lowest common denominator all the time. "0h 100k13! 1t'5 Ph4t 13WT and we're missing out! Let's KS the mob, ninja loot it and log out before the GM's can do anything about it!"

It's a ROLE-playing game you freaks. Play a role other than your sad, greedy, small-minded attention-deficient selves for a change.

Bleh.

My 2cp worth has come to an end.

Yes monks rock, but leave it at that. Sheesh!! Monks should only get what was truly made for monks and this is not for them. This is a BP for most classes. I plan on camping one for my Shaman someday.
