Yea your 51st lvl bud which means you prolly havnt even rolled on some uber loot. NBG is how it should ALWAYS be, why? Because loot is for wearing not selling, thats why it has slots where you can wear it....
Obviously your one of those greedy people that ask "What drops here?" everytime you join a group"
NBG is the Ultimate greed

Again, I am soo bloody tired of this pseudo communist, manipulation of the loot system. It is abhorrent to me that people actually buy into this NBG crap. The bottom line is this: If you fight in a raid you should get a roll on ANY No Drop item. If you win and want to give it to someone who can use it; that is real nice. If you sell it because you need the PP; that is your right. If you trade it for another item you need; good for you. NBGers STOP TRYING TO PUSH YOUR WARPED IDEA OF FAIR ON OTHERS!!!
Seems to me I see too many "Needed" items being sold at a profit in the commons by some twink. SAVE ME FROM WHAT YOU CALL FAIR!

I wouldn't have posted this normaly but you were specific in your post. Anyone should be able to roll on any NO DROP item you said. If you win and you want to give it to someone, want to sell it, that is your right etc. etc. you said.

You can't sell/trade/drop NO DROP items. So rolling on NO DROP stuff that you will not immeditely wear is foolish.

Safe Travels

Maybe he is giving the right to loot away to someone else. I believe you can let someone else loot a rotting corpse.

Looks like someone doesn't know the definition of Communism, since you're saying that everyone has an equal right to roll for the item, when they don't deserve it, because if they aren't going to be wearing it, then it benefiting the rest of the guild by increasing the guild's raiding power.

Hrmm in other words, Necromata, if you went to a raid, an incredibly rare item drops, your the only person who can use it, however someone else gets to keep it because its gravied.... You're telling me you'd be happy with that?

In case you didn't notice, this item is NO DROP. Anyway, here's how the high level guild raid generally work:
1. They aren't pick up raids - everyone pretty much knows each other and in general they're in the same guild or in allianced guilds.
2. Being a member of a high level guild is sort of like being a drone bee, in that everything that is done is done for the good of the hive. You will make a sacrifice if you know it will strengthen the hive. If someone's equipment is substandard, they will get the lion's share of the spoils.
3. Unless you go into a zone like WW with a high level raiding party, you can pretty much count on a lengthy CR, and a CR from a foiled CR, and so on.
Basically, what I'm saying is that the rules you know before you hit 50+ no longer apply once you're in a strong, high level guild.
As for the high end items being sold at the bazaar, what do you suppose you'd do with a SSBP if the 2 or 3 bards in your guild already had one? (just for example)
greed... grroup with yer friends

This is why i usually only solo or hunt with guildmate/friends.

Its really that simple after level 50 or so. Meet some people that you get along with and play about the same time.

The only disputes i have ever run in with my friendgroup was "no you take it" "nahh you need it more" "no i dont you do" "dude seriously you need it more than me" "hey are you insulting my equip?" "yah so take it you dimwit" LOL

BTW I am in a guild who can do smaller zone raids alone (hole ect) and for the stuff that requires more people we have several large alliances (for planes and dragons and western wastes type zones)

In my guild the raid leader can merit one item to him/herself. Epic pieces dont count and sometimes there may be an acception (for instance on my hole raid we had a total of 7-10+ smoldering brands drop so i began meriting them to whoever helped me)
oh, for crying out loud

Another talisman? Oy vay - spare me, please God. These things are like party favors now. I swear, you go into WW and there are hula girls there at the entrance waiting to drape one of these around your neck.
everyone

EVERYONE should have a chance at this... It's an all/all item, and if they'll use it.. they should have a chance at it.
Since no one else ...
# Jun 12 2001 at 2:13 PM Rating: Default
Since no one else is jumping up and saying it, monks should have a chance at this. Not saying they should get it right out but they should be considered for it.
talisman

Im really suprised theres no monks posting that this should only be given to them due to the low weight. They really like to jump on that kind of thing

Jesus H. Fragglerockin' Christ! How many of those "talismans" are there? THERE ALL THE SAME THING, give or take a few stats bonus. Hey, I know those things are used for quest, ever thought of switching different collars while giving them back? Like they really can tell the difference anymore then you do.
