As an update to the Update.
If you get this backflag, you only need to have faction, and complete Kill Kangur to take part in FC1 raids as flagged for the expedition. You will however need to complete the 3 Fergarin missions if you wish to pull Frostcrypt 1 expedition. Udengar and Odeen are not required.

Does this only flag you for the Odeen kill? or does it get you the whole thing except Faction? I am hear the latter.

Since the info is missing
It drops off Hearol the Tactician, and Lorekeeper Grenwald.
Click it, and it flags you as if you had won the King Odeen event (speak with the king)
Still need the faction, the 3 fergarin group tasks, and the kanguar and Udengar raid tasks to be fc1 flagged.

So which mobs/events does the item come from, specifically?
just those two, Hearol and Grenwald.
