Stacking
# Jun 29 2003 at 6:28 AM Rating: Decent
Does this stack with the shaman talisman of jasnith, or epuritation..Im guessing that they dont, but given how difficult the cards are to get, I was thinking maybe they factored some risk/reward principles. Thanks in advance.

It's pretty much just a resist disease buff. It won't stack with any other disease resist buffs.

That stated, it's not bad for self buffing as a Druid -- it's not targetable -- but it's pretty sweet for those who don't get a resist buff of this power themselves. Other disease resists, of more power, can and will over write it.
Effect is no longer targettable

*UPDATE* The August 22, 2001 patch changed the effects on the Black and Green Flowers of Functionality so they are no longer targettable. I've just confirmed that this is indeed the case in-game. In the same patch the green flower was "fixed" so that it would give +50 PR again. It had been broken (+0 PR) the patch before. Sigh, now these flowers are LESS functional.
Quests on the POM

If you all didn't know the mobs drop various cards and items. You collect the cards (kinda like pokemon) and then you put them in a container (oh my how original) and according to the cards you get an item when you turn them into ... *can't think of name right now*. There have been several nice posts about the combination of cards and what will and will not be rendered. There is also a website dedicated to the POM.

Sorry i don't have the link to either of these but search the zone equipment and they are in the replies concerning the items.
AC10 and no stats
# Jul 20 2001 at 8:03 AM Rating: Default
Slot says head, currently my head items outdistance this a lot and they are no where near planar items. Ergo this must be an inventory item that you use for the spell effect. I wonder why they didn't realy put anything else on this item. It is an awesome weight if a monk realy wanted to wear it but a froglok crown has AC12 cold/fire 20? and the weight isn't much more than 0.0.

Just some food for thought? Anyone else agree/disagree?

Humm...I don't think that the Flowers of Functionality aren't used to wear as "good" gear, rather, to wear for the right click effect. Raises disease resistance by 50 at lvl 40.. Not sure if it stacks with other resist spells but if it does you could have some uber resists with the right click of flowers/spells/gear. Would be awsome to have for raids.
This item is KILLER
# Nov 02 2001 at 12:13 PM Rating: Default
Well, even if you do have to wear it for the effect, it is right clickable, so, put it on, give a click, take it off, you still have the effect. Any of these flowers rock.
Also AC

Pretty sure this is also an AC buff, seemed to be about 13 or so when cast by a level 55 the other day.

#Anonymous, Posted: Jun 11 2001 at 7:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) When I try running EQCaster I get an error saying "Failed to create empty document." I have Mfc42.dll, Msvcrt.dll and eqcaster.exe all in my EverQuest directory. Any ideas?
Effect dependant on target ?

Is the level of the player your are proc'ing it on the deciding factor of the bonus to resist?
If not, then it would always be buff of 50 (Player proc'ing must be 46th+ )

If your a caster and don't have the EqCaster then get your ***** over to www.eqcaster.com and download it ASAP. NO person who plays EQ should be without this program as it details the EXACT effects of each spell.

WWW.EQCASTER.COM is a website, what is there to download? I may have missed something here. With all the parser, tutorial and other programs to tweak EQ I thought there is something I missed.
