Just killed both the Iceshard brothers in the Manor; both dropped the blood.
Just killed the Iceshard brothers 8 times, and no blood. I'm either really unlucky or SOE is just mean.
A ranger's life is truely to solo these worlds.
as of dec 11th 2004 the blood still drops off the Iceshard twins. Klaggen dropped it for my monk on Prexus

This used to drop 90% of the time off the Iceshard nobles in the Manor area. After killing four cycles, its either been removed from thier tables and drops elsewhere or it is bugged and doesnt drop at all.

Dropped yesterday, on Tunare. I'm guessing you just had bad luck

Can anybody confirm that the A Kromzek Sorcerer really does drop this item? I can easily solo him (65 Druid), but have killed him so many times, I'm doubting he has it.
I may have found my own answer... On EQ Traders it is stated that only the Iceshard brothers drop this, not the Sorcerer...

This blood is so rare.. OMG!!! I have been camping in the manor for about 9 hours.. Not one.. I have got about every other drop there.. It started to get boring.. So, I was 2 boxing me (65 Chanter) and my 65 cleric..
I decided I would give the cycle a go round.. See if I could do it alone.. And well, actually made it all worth while.. Wasn't bored anymore waiting on pops, and was getting some decent plate drops.. I think I got Boots and Arms on the 2 cycles I did..
But still NO BLOOD... GRRR... I hate velious.. I hate this quest.. But i want the items..
I think next I'm off to hate to do the FT3 Range item.. See how much I get to hate that place..

On the day I finally got my blood, I started my own raid to go to the Manor in Kael. We managed the mobs there quite easily with 9 people between lvls 49 and 60. When we arrived at the Manor, both the Iceshard brothers were already up, one sitting on the throne, and one standing to the left of the throne as you face it from the steps. On this occasion, our luck was in, and both the Iceshards dropped a blood. I got the first, and the 53 Mage who had accompanied us and who was working on his shawl quests also walked away very happily with the other.
We did not do the cycles, there is no need to do them in order to make the blood drop. If it's the blood you're after, the only real reason to do the cycles is if you have a lot of high-level people sitting around getting bored waiting on spawns. There were just enough spawns to keep us busy for a good three hours, and we got a few nice drops, including a no drop +10CHA head piece that our cleric (on his first ever raid, too!) won the roll for, and the Iceshaper's Staff.
A huge thanks once again to all the people who came to help me, especially since an hour after the raid ended, I was happily wearing my Runed Coldain Prayer Shawl at last!

I was in doing a guild raid in the rift house. We were going through the cycles at the time and one of the mobs dropped it. Not sure which one but it wasnt and iceshard so not just them drop it. We never did kill an iceshard. We did the cycles for about 3 hours since we need to get some kind of head for some people for the 9th ring. Only had 1 vial of blood drop. Is this stuff like ultra rare or something or do the iceshards drop it more often. and where exactly so these 2 spawn. i never saw them in the rift house. an loc would be nice.

They are next to the throne in the noble house.
See the bestiary for their info, they are tougher than their level would have you think.

I understand some giant in the Manor house behind the pond with the fisherman in middle of Kael. Any further info on which mob?
