I was told that the ry'gorr scalps were used for Froststone faction?
If that is true I have a few dozen NPCs I need to hail to confirm this
the next time I go mining the miners for ore.
I am ally there already, but it'd help others to know.

Okies anybody who reads this has anyone found a use for them? I have killed several thousand orcs in CC never seen one dropped. Outside have killed a few scouts and these dropped everytime.
As you noticed, these only drop outside of CC. Yes, they are a very common drop in the Fort.

any idea what these are for? Thought they might be turned in to a dwarf since they hate those guys...to prove you had been killing Orcs...but noone has taken them so far....atleast none at the dwarves on the Hill by the Rygorr fort...gonna go to CC and check those lads.

Supposedly, used in the cleric epic.
They arent used in the cleric epic....atleast not the original or second epic quest. All epics (except the 1st pally epic if memory serves) were done using EverQuest and the 2nd expansion (Ruins of Kunark). Those are the only 2 needed to do any of the epics. The Ry`Gorr Scalps are from Velious, and therefore not used in any epic quest.
Edit: With the release of Luclin, this is now changed. Beastlords epics do include Luclin zones. The other epics have remained unchanged though.

Update: As of the release of Omens of war the Beastlord Epics 1.5 has 2 battles in Dranik Scar and I have not done my 2.0 yet and not sure what zones are added to that one. As for Ry`Gorr Scalp still no idea what it is for. I was hoping to find out here. Faction with Froststone? Maybe.
