What a joke

Got it in casino and hit destroy.

Sorry but the day I sacrifice a Carved Vrex Totem for that piece of rubbish is the day I'll quit.

If at least it were droppable, then at least it could benefit someone else but this is a joke.

/bye Casino, it's so not worth trying.

You're comparing a Velious era item to a Gates era item.

and yeah I know it's from the casino, but fact remains its a velious item.

Insert chaos here....items like this confuse when they aren’t for a quest..."hay ever quest team, come here quick, free hits of cid"...Games can be fun just for their own sake, chill out and let loose with some truly creative game play. The world is amazing for just its technical side, time to put some "art" into the story. A good role playing game engages its audience with plot and story line as well as loot and adventure. As star wars “attack of the clones” is showing us visually, you can’t tell a story with just technology, flashy computer tech can only get you so far. – “what I like the game, I just think it can be better” – Unknown
well thats a damn good item

(trolls NEED fire resistance, we start with 5)
lol, ambiguity is funny

Hehe I laughed when I read your post, I thought you meant trolls (ie trolls of the message boards) need fire resistance cause they get flamed.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 30 2001 at 7:17 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I dont understand this item. It adds 1 to a lot of stats and has fire resist. Big deal. BTW why is it called a resistance stone?
RE: I dont understand this?

There is one for magic resist too
RE: I dont understand this?

Red=fire (i hope u get that )
Resistance=it adds HUGE fire RESIST!
And to find 35 resist on a range item is rare!

RE: I dont understand this?

Because it's a ranged slot item that adds 35 to your fire resistance... That IS a big deal when you fight creatures that kill you without touching you :). I assume, since there's a Blue one that adds cold, that there is one stone for each resistance.

Please dont ask what its for, I hope its obvious to everyone.
Not useless

If you read what the Verant spokespeople have been saying, you will see them talking about being unable to increase the overall power of characters. Instead they are making items that make characters more powerful in certain situations. This is one such item.

# May 29 2001 at 8:15 PM Rating: Decent
Lets see, a range item that gives plus 1 too all stats and "35" to 1 resist. I think thats badass
#REDACTED, Posted: May 29 2001 at 6:04 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) what are these for? Unless they're for a quest, the resistances are the only good part. I am fairly sure these are the best resistances for the range slot.
RE: what?
# May 29 2001 at 6:11 PM Rating: Excellent
That's probably why they're named resistance stones...
#Anonymous, Posted: May 29 2001 at 6:15 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Dude they know.. shut up
Hmm... stat bonuses
# May 29 2001 at 5:00 PM Rating: Decent
Maybe the stat bonuses are so people don't say "This is useless except in blahblah dragon blahblah situation..."
