I know there are some really stupid posts on "its a monk item" but you have to look at what kind of groups need to get this. It will go to others before a monk probably though.
Monks use the rainbow shield to pull all the time, so saying they shouldn't get it because its a shield is stupid.
The low weight just makes it an option for a monk to get it, better than it rotting no?

You've obviously never played a Monk. Monks do use a shield a lot, the Shield of Rainbow Hues, for pulling, and then unequip it when they get to battle. But SoRH is much better than this for that purpose and easier to get.

IMHO since it isn't that useful for classes other than pure casters, this would most likely go to a monk as it is VERY helpful when pulling.

this is good for all even monk because they can put it on use the effect and take it off but yes it should go to others before a monk gets it please dont flame its just my7 opion

Just in reply to your message, this would be nice for anyone planning on going to KK or any underwater zone. If you don't have a fishbone earing the clickable effect of EB is nice. Oh and you don't have to wear it to use the effect =P. Why wouldn't anyone without a fishbone want this =) yes even those pesky monks.

Just bring a mage. Summon waterstone is a lvl 20 spell and the Waterstones aren't Lore so you can carry twenty if you are real concerned about drowning (enduring breath lasts real long so that must've been a joke of sorts).

This would suck for monks - they have to sacrifice a weapon for it.
