DO ROLL IN TOV=P
# Jul 27 2002 at 7:16 PM Rating: Default
my guild does HoT/named there, and whacks all the named in West tov. and anyone at the raid that can equip and will use as primary, rolls /rand 1 100. =p
why???
# Apr 30 2002 at 12:38 PM Rating: Default
Why isn't it warrior wearable?
RE: why???
# Jul 20 2002 at 3:46 PM Rating: Excellent
Probably a "plot" thing having to do with the name. "Nightstalking" (to me) implies stealth or darkness. I'm more surprised that a necro can't wear it than that a warrior can't wear it, considering the whole "nightstalking" thing. Just my opinion :)
Bad item
# Jul 22 2001 at 7:21 PM Rating: Default
Bile Etched Obsidian Choker off Cazic is much better than this, and a LOT easier to get.

# Dec 20 2002 at 1:19 AM Rating: Excellent
have you even seen ct? or even the inside of tov?
52 warriors dont have much business doing either
RE: Bad item
# Mar 23 2002 at 1:14 AM Rating: Decent
I think Cazic is a bit tougher than this guy =(
RE: Bad item
# Oct 07 2001 at 5:12 AM Rating: Excellent
Easier to get... hmmm clear fear or CoH in and kill a dragon with 28 people?

who wants to spend hours clearing fear when you can take care of this guy in less than an hour.

Well...

The one saying no random here was quite right atleast on this occasion. This item was posted by my guild and we certainly never, ever random for anything. The whole thought it appalling.
Not so hot

The HP are nice, that's about it though. Many of the items out (and yes from ToV) are far better in stats.

Rolling on loots in a ToV raid (event)? No, those items are assinged.. this place is not a pickup raid area, nor is it camping KC.
nah
# May 23 2001 at 10:36 PM Rating: Decent
heavy for a monk yes, but by the 50s, your weight tolerance is good enough to handle this. heck, for the hundred hp I'd lose 5-10 AC, in level 50+ raids, the hit might keep me alive a longer longer
While it may weight 2lbs
# May 23 2001 at 10:31 PM Rating: Default
by the lvl yrr high evough to get this a monk's weight limit is up heigh enough, although there are better, and less weight neckpeices for monks. well I can think of 1.

What kind of anti-logic crack are you smoking? Every guild has different rules for splitting up loot, so don't go making sweeping generalizations about uber-guild rules. Since you're annonymous, I think I can safely assume you're not part of an uber-guild, anyway. By defining a self-respecting guild as one that doesn't roll on uber-loot, you are accusing all who do of being non-self-respecting. How lame a comment is that? Just come out and say it if that's what you think! Besides, Need-before-greed is an often corrupted system("Ah, yes! I need that for my fourth twink!"); I would support rolling on any item that is not no-drop(and as of the date I posted this, there was nothing to indicate that this item was no-drop). If a druid feels bad about rolling on an item that is monk only, then let the druid give his roll to a monk. Besides, when you're talking about need before greed, everyone "needs" cash, which can be obtained by selling an item. Lastly, as for guilds that distribute loot on a senority or similar basis, I would call them non-self-respecting, because their systems allow for only one thing: how much you've sucked up to the loot distributer.

The Gathering of Shadows

P.S. No, I'm not in an uber-guild, either, but I do recognize ethics and logic. Flaming we without either reveals that you have niether.
#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 16 2001 at 6:48 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I dont let my guild roll i just lewt the item and say "wtf it disappeared!" and try to spam away the loot message
#Anonymous, Posted: May 29 2001 at 1:05 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Got two words to describe you, Greedy Farmer. I'm glad your not on my server.
RE: What ubar guild are you from?

No offense bro, but your *logic* is probably why your not in an Uber-guild. Don't you understand? Seniority is not about *** kissing! There are certain items in this game that are wanted by too many people and hard as hell to get. Why do you deserve this item more than the guildie who has camped this item for a month, patiently waiting for all those other guildies who have been camping this item longer, until it's his turn. not saying that your are, but your attitude speeks entirely of greed, as in your statement, need before greed, everyone needs money
You wish.
# May 23 2001 at 8:51 PM Rating: Decent
Wouldnt talk there, Mr. Bigshot.

Uber guilds roll all the time, against their own guildies for items they want, thnx kk ^_^
Duh noobs
# May 23 2001 at 8:48 PM Rating: Default
um Guilds that go to TOV don't roll for lewt...unless you find a pick up raid (fat chance) the only way youll ever get this item is when your guild kills this mob which is not at all easy even for the Big ubber guilds. I don't wanna dash yer hopes to much but it irks me to see people posting about wanting to roll on UBER lewt...has anyone ever explained Need Befor Greed (nbg loot sppliting) or the Participation evaluation systems the high end guilds use to the commeners, maybe they would stop posting stupid stuff like this "if i was a sk i would be throwing a hissy fit to roll too". if you were a sk in a ubber guild in TOV you have more pressing concerns than who gets a neclace, like will my cleric notice my health bar is almost empty if the enchanter is getting beat on......
UGH!
# May 23 2001 at 8:18 PM Rating: Default
Godly stats for a rogue and too heavy for a monk on a neck piece. Shadowknights have better but this is godly for a rogue, but if i was a SK I would be throwing a hissy fit to roll to, so i guess it would be good for a rogue or a SK, but a rogue should get it just from its name =)
RE: UGH!
# May 24 2001 at 8:08 AM Rating: Default
if you were a monk you would find a way to deal with a meager 2 stones. Ever wonder why some bother getting 10 stone tranq staffs? hehe there are ways..
#Anonymous, Posted: May 25 2001 at 4:52 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) it's not stones, weight in EQ is pounds.
This will go great with...
