Does anyone know a PC on this helm? I am not high enough to go to WW to get it, and really dont want to risk it, I am pretty sure I have enough pp to buy it, just dont know the price.
Twink Gear, Probably
# Aug 16 2001 at 11:46 AM Rating: Decent
I'd certainly love this helm. As a 55 DE SK, I'm finding that most of my planar/quest gear lacks sta, and my sta is slowly dwindling in pursuit of AC and resists. To *me* this helm, with sta, int, AND better AC than my current helm, screams SK! I think most of these would likely find their way onto twinks, though, because most people killing the mob that drops this probably have better.

Well, If I saw one of these drop I damn sure would be rolling on it. Its 17 AC which is better than the SSB Im using now. Oh, and when you do upgrade, you give it back to the guild, sell it or whatever. It not like once you get this item, its yours forever.

I confess, the post denigrating my brother ogres and trolls was mine. Didn't log properly and got the anony sig. Ah well the facts are still the facts though as it IS a good stat bonus for us. ;)

Come ON people! This is without doubt aim at our poor under IQ friends the ogres and trolls.
An IQ boost like this gives them an Almost childlike chance at learning anything. (Yes I have had and still do play these races on ocassion.)~A 1 eyed git smiling. We need a smiley like this due to the prevailence of monooccularism.

#REDACTED, Posted: May 24 2001 at 9:19 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Its for an SK alright, an SK who dont give a rat's *** about his helmet and will wear anything.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 24 2001 at 6:30 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Well, I dont understand why it has all those other classes, who actually dont NEED it at all!
you just don't get it.
# May 24 2001 at 2:20 PM Rating: Decent
If you actually looked at the helmet and you have at least a double digit I.Q. you would have NOTICED that the AC is 17, jee thats quit a lot for a helmet of that level. Sure there are other, better helmets of lower level but those require quests and high (high, high, high) level dungeons. one more thing, the stats on it aren't to shabby either, 10 int is quite a lot.
RE: you just don't get it.
# May 24 2001 at 3:27 PM Rating: Default
a helmet of that level? what are you talking about? you do know that you have to kill named dragons in western wastes to get this right? and that you don't have to do that to get a blood ember helm? western wastes is a high (high, high, high) level zone compared to old sebilis, even though juggs are tough, there is tougher in ww

Overstand that a Bard needs inteligence, and secondly a little extra smarts never hurt no one.

Classy name that guy's got.

And before someone complains, yes, I know this is a place to discuss items, not the people who submit them, no need to flame me, but I was bored and felt like posting something.

Here,

Nice item, great stats, awesome for an SK.

Happy now?

can you say SK only?
RE: sk
# May 23 2001 at 9:44 PM Rating: Default
Certainly makes the most sense on an SK... what would the other listed classes do with INT?
RE: sk
# May 23 2001 at 10:18 PM Rating: Decent
have there skills increase quicker :)
RE: sk
# May 24 2001 at 3:05 AM Rating: Decent
True but at that level your skills should be high, unless of course you intend to wear the helm while trying to increase your trade skills. So I would vote SK also.
RE: sk
# May 23 2001 at 10:55 PM Rating: Decent
I wouldn't say SK *only,* but its most aesthetically pleasing on a Shadowknight. ;) If, for instance, another melee-type in the party wants to roll on it because its better AC than what they got, I wouldn't scream bloody murder. But it would be a bit of a waste of that lovely ten int. ;)
RE: sk

AC17, 6STA

No, I cannot say SK only.

I may be a dumb Warrior, but I could certainly use tha AC and the STA.

Sure, I don't have much use for INT, but I am a Tank and AC+STA=Awesome gear.
