Hmm

The pic above only shows half elves and dark elves being able to wear, but humans can worship Inny as well...any idea if human can use as well?

Unfortunately Humans cannot use the Dark Elf cultural armor. However, the is some Human cultural (Hateful Heraldic) for Inny worshipping humans and half-elves.

good gear!

The cultural gear is great, and kinda a pain in the butt to get the stuff for, but to make this stuff you probabally need to be high lvl or have a high lvl character to get the stuff. Shadowed men in comms are blue to me a 30 and the elfs in Gfay are easy to kill at lvl 5 or 6 and, for all you Dark Elfs out there that don't have good faction with the lighter colored elfs, you don't have to worry the elvin bandit camp is no where near gaurds....just take the nexus down and camp for a while. the 4 int bonus is great on the gear.....lots of mana!

Bards....
# May 20 2001 at 3:34 AM Rating: Default
YES....bards can worship innoruuk...bards can worship just about anything....

Just their song lists...they get a fear song you know.

Do you think that a a musician is good? look at MAESTRO in PLANE OF HATE!

Eminem doesn't sing songs of joy...but in terms of EQ, he'd still be clasified as a bard because he sings.

Is it just me, or are there not very many Innoruk worshiping bards out there?

Anyone know anyone on Quellious selling Leather Paddings? 200 combines should get me to 250 skill...I MUST make these!
RE: Sweet, merciful heavens!

What is your skill before the 200 combines? 249?
I don't think it will be that easy to gain the skill, as is I have a DE smith and gaining skils aint that easy in smithing/except at first hehe. Anyways, it's very easy to make the paddings yourself. Get a sowing kit, go out and kill spiderlings for thier silk, combine 2 to get a silk thread, these become stackable so thier great to start you tailoring skill with. That an the Nek forest is crammed full of them. Then kill all of the bears and wolves in the area for thier hides, use low quality and med quality hides for this. Combine one hide and one silk thread, voila!! One stackable leather padding. If your too high a level to be troubled by the mundane task hire out all the newbies in the area to bring you spiderling silks and pelts. It would make thier day.

I make my own leather paddings, but have been searching for people that sell them, as well. I did some research, and found out some information:

1) The most difficult piece of Fine Plate (which I use to skill up) trivials at 242.

2) The average skill point/leather paddings ratio is 1 raise every 20 points.

3) No one other than smithies seem to sell leather paddings.

At my current skill (185), it would take me appx. 1140 combines to get to 242. Damn. I'll need to take a break from adventuring to get that!

Check eqtraders.com for recipes. These are probably the best boots for Darkelves, as they aren't really all that hard to get, but you have to know a high level smith. Almost all of the ingredients are bought from a merchant, and since they removed the Blue diamond needed to enchant the Adamantite, they can probably be aquired for around 2-3kpp.

*high* level smith =p judging from my success rates on imbued chain... you may have to waste a lot of tempers attempting to make this item unless you're very close to the 250 limit.
not sure i'd even openly sell these, if i made them. by the time you have the resources to completely cap out smithing, money isn't really the concern any longer =) i'm not a smith-for-hire typically on my server, except to get rid of fine plate created while skilling up. when i go to the third gate armed with temper, i have a specific friend in mind.
i doubt these will ever be so common that they can be simply *bought* in the east commonlands, and that's just part of the fun =) the statistics are good, but the look of cultural armour is unique given its rarity, that's what impresses people. the boots are dark dark purple/blue, almost black; other pieces closer to the centre of the body are lighter shades i believe.

Unfortunatly alot of the components aren't vendor bought. You have to collect certain thing to get them where you want to make this.

First you need Elven blood, Essence of Shadow, and neriak nectar. Only bought at vendor is Nectar. These combined in a brew barrel for temper. (brewing skill and a pain to collect from shadowmen and elves)

need to make enchanted chainmail jointing...
Admantite is bought but the smith has to make the rings, then make jointing out of the rings hoping not to fail. Can get expensive, especially if he has to hire an enchanter to enchant the metal first.

Then he needs to make folded sheets of enchanted adamntite (another skill check involving about 40pp worth of things) hope he has a superior skill.

also has to have leather padding and these aren't bought, they are made with tailoring skill. (Doh, another skill)

Yes, the metal and the Neriak nectar are bought from vendors but everything else is collected or smithed to get the final recipe combo and the hope he doesn't fail at that end.
