This item looks to drop in north ToV... which means you'll never see it unless you get off these boards and play a LOT more. Also Monks can't use these.... which makes it somewhat stupid to give to a monk. I play a monk and a Druid and I hate noobies that say stuff like "Doodz this is a UBER MONK item.... Look how much it weights" If you were able to come get this item you would know that if you got agro where it droped, One, you really suck at Agro Management. and two, That if you go get agro you will be seeing "Loading Please Wait"
MAN I AM TIRED OF MONKS ok I am a pally, and I am REALY glad that my guild only has 3 monks. (o BTW I am flaming now). Because if I had anymore i would swear I will never get any good gear. OK i know i know it's carring on this stupid post string.. as a matter of fact i am gonna have to post this somewhere esle also.
MONKS FIGHT LIKE A MONK!!! Aren't you all supposed to be running about in orange robes or something?
WTF is with the monk posts where they say on every uber item with weight below five "Hey this is monk item your super greedy for wanting it" even though almost every uber item is lower than 5 stop making monks look like loot whores.
Hello. My name is Ulic, and I am a loot *****. I tried converting to monkhood. I tried a 12-step program. I tried crying myself to sleep. Nothing works...I'm still a loot *****.
I say band together with your fellow loot whores of all classes and create a guild! Let the loot flow and the whores be sedated; only then will there be peace in BoT!
Hey, nice greaves! I bet that any lucky guy who got these, wont prolly get better ones untill he really starts to bother him/her self with the uber armor quests..
Sorry, this post is a sort of flame, though I'm really curious why people refer to items by "stone" weight, a real "stone" is the equivalent of 14 pounds what I want to know is why people refer to it as this, pounds would make much more sense. think of it this way monks can carry like 14 "units" of weight without being hindered (AC hits) that is like saying a monk could fight like a martial artist with 160 or so pounds on his back. That does'nt even taking into account when my shadow knight carries 130 "units" if it were true stones he would be carrying 1820 pounds!! oh well, it does'nt make a difference either way, just seems like saying stones to be "more in character" just make weights and measures seem flawed in norrath :-P

So you're telling me in a world where all of this is plausible, that carrying 1,820 pounds isn't possible? Let me remind you that also in this world exists Ogres, Trolls, and Elfs... :)
Ehhem one wt unit whatever you wish to call it is 10 pounds in this game, in cabalis you can catch a ten pound trout, this is the name, and the weight listed is 1.0, there is also somewhere a ten pound stone, also wt 1.0, I don't know why the term stone came into use but I would assume it has to do with the prevelence of the weight measurment stones in most fantasy type games and books... just my 2 cents
well... if wt 1.0 is equal to 10 pounds, then i think we all have supernatural strength. I see quite a few items weighing 20 or more. Lets take up the monk as an example. What is the weight limit for a monk, before he or she loses ac... 15'ish?`... well.. that would be the equivalent to 150 pounds (70 kilos) of clothing and other goodies. Imagine doing those flying kicks on a 3 min ling fight (3 rl mins = 1 hour in game)... I know i'd be mighty tired. So my conclusion is that a wt of 1.0 is equal to 1 pound.
