Confirmed to drop from Xygoz during Kunark era on TLP. May move to Milyex Vioren during revamp of VP 2.0 during OoW/GoD.

Dropped from Milyex Vioren. It's currently listed as a drop from Xygoz, but I'm pretty sure it no longer drops from him. I haven't seen any of the dragon bosses still drop the old weapons.

As of February 2021, confirmed that Staff of Cancellation drops from Milyex Vioren (Level: 65) in Veeshan's Peak 2.0 (not the Staff of Null).

Updated the new drop info.

I hesitate to remove the drop from Xygoz without a better sense of what patch/revamp a bunch of changes were made to which NPC.

I was looking over recent posts and wanted to make a note here:

July 14, 2004 was the day of the revamp, but the patch notes don't mention any specifics... just that elemental planes quality loot will now drop.
The GM Stien

The GM Stien of moggok isn't around any more. You have lots of people trying to claim they are and sell them but if you look at the stats they are not any differnt that the one quested. Besides who wants 2 stiens?
phenocryst

Well,

When u have a Stein of moggok (Int10), then just make the quite easy phenocryst focus quest. So u have 20 Int, with serveral stats and more important....resists.
not useless

Notice the Effect: Cancel Magic?

This staff is always given to monks as a pulling tool. Not that any casters want this piece of junk for stat.

I timed it at about 7 seconds. Slower than pumice, but saves space and PP.

Uh, what?

Lol.... I always wondered how people could be so stupid and post twice in a row.... guess I found out. :) Itchy trigger finger and pressed the post button twice in a row..... oh well.

Let's pretend, for an instant, that you COULD have two steins at the same time... This is 20 int.... those two would be 20 int.... does the stein offer at least 43 mana? Don't think so!

Seriously, I think someone was trying to be funny. If not, I would think it would be very very entertaining watching them type that, in person.
