Yes, but Trakanon is a much different mob from where you'll find Abashi's Rod of Disempowerment. However, this is NOT an overly-uber item at this stage in the game.

Well this only droped on the test server becuase it was to "UBER" accordung to Verant then the jackasses go and make items like the "Mournfello" for pallies. Whatever happened to Class Balance issue that was supposedly keeping any opne class from being to powerfull ?

Did u just compare a Kunark Weapon for one of the fastest attacking classes in the game to a damn pally weapon from Luclin????? are u nuts? pallie's cannot Dual Weild, kick for over 100, be max haste at all times, FD and Mend.....

Ok man....First off, don't ever look at the equip Pallys get and compare it to other classes. We just don't compare. No afence to the Monks that do not complain, but honestly, I am sick and tired of Monks complaining how bad they have it when an item does not go there way....Be happy with what you have, because you should be VERY happy if your comparing Monk equip with Paladin equip.
YEAH!! dumb monks -- they obviously should be happy with their kunark set of armor on par with DW for pally's -- oh wait there is none.
Also they should be happy with their awesome capabilities against one particular type of mob -- like pally's over undead-- oh wait, they have none.
I am not saying either class is better -- I am just saying that all of the classes have their own benefits and failures and sighting that one classes equipment is better than another's is wrong unless you also take into account their other abilities -- like pally spell casting. As a monk i would love to be able to cast all those stuns then root and back off to clicky heal with my hat, but i understand that that is not possible and an happy with what i DO have.

The proc is the same off the T staff, it is a DD and stun effect, don't remember the damage on the DD though.

I read every single message on this item and not one says what the proc does. What the hell does it do??

It does 120 damage which stuns for around 6 seconds in PVP it does 120 damage stuns for 6 seconds and makes the player spin in circles until it wears off like those mushrooms in Guk that used to cast clockwork poison which was the same thing as this only it was a dot
Nice.....if only it wasn't nerfed, with one of these a monk would do uber damage(like everyone said). Anyone think they could solo tunare with one of these?
No one could solo tunare, even with a 100 dmg 1 dly weapon that proc'd a complete heal paired with a 1k dd and 20 second stun... she has an ae stun that stuns for quite some time (all the while youre not able to proc that cheal/dd/stun while shes hittin ya for 900 and her pets hittin ya for 320 max... yad die just as quick as somone usin a rusty battlestaff) You might be able to solo somthing below 55 thats not classed as giant or dragon cause stun would stick

HEHE, maybe if the proc was a right-click with instant recast time, that was also an AoE, and you had Speed of shissar :P

I dont know tunare is pretty weak if you can get her solo and have some powerful DPS backing you I know you can drop here with 2 grps but I wouldnt be surprized if you could do it with less then that..

heh, I find it funny that people try to prove that this item is good. Anyone who thinks this is not godly is one of those really annoying stubborn people who you cannot convince into anything and must be slugged... I've even had a guy tell me it's not all that great cause it has no stats. Those **** me off too, some people dun think. Btw, I've seen this one in Quellious also.. some monk was hitting with it but don't remember his/her name. Oh well.

Dosnt matter if you have argo if you are solo :)

Here is a scary reminder why this weapon is god and I stress god like

--This item when used in conjunction with Golden Sash of Tranquility+Swift Like the Wind comes out to a 44dmg 19.90dly Effect: 100 Hundred Blows Weapon......So let combine that with o lets say Inner Flame discipline which means all hits you land are at least 4x the base weapons dmg.....lasts 12 seconds.....Ok so now your looking at a 176/19.90 weapon at least......Can we say uber OMG uber I could **** up a dragon with this thing.....I mean the monk would literally be doing Id say 2k+ dmg a round prolly 900+dmg per hit......combine with the Flying Kicks and O M F G you become a god....I dont care what anyone says you are a God.....you deserve your own plane.
Hell I prolly screwed up on a few thing so feel free to correct me

The monk would be dead before the dmg would be able to add up, you would be stuck at the top of the agro list through the whole fight.

Monks got feign death to manage aggro. If feign is successful it just clear up the monk from mob's hate list :p

I got money says it exists, and btw, quit trying to find an excuse for why your character could never even dream of this insane godly power That Decked out Monks get... Afterall Assail dmg is there baby, that's all they got (Plenty of flaws in being a Monk) and you best believe that's EXACTLY what they got. IeToRz Assail dMg that makes any other assailer SuXorZ =(.

his statment is just as true as yours could be, so you can't tell who's the liar. Personally i think with the new 2her weapon upgrades, this weapon is completely fine.. what with 40/40 weapons that proc AVATAR.. who cares about this? its just a monk godly item, but they'd probably use primal brawl stick or something, almost same stats i assume, after the 2h upgrade.. im not sure at all on that one.

This rivals the 40-35 Staff of Trorsmang, even if it has a slightly worse damage-delay ratio.
Hey, if it does forty OR more damage, it has the damage bonus modifier, meaning both of these weapons have the modifier.
However, this one has 100 Blows. Infinitely, scary useful. Trust me, this gets going and you're doing more damage than a Rogue could ever dream of. Use this in conjunction with your disciplines and you'll be god-like. AND, it weighs half as much. Helloooo, AC bonus. :)

The damage bonus modifier is based on delay, not damage.

Does the damge bonus work for 2hs also cause my pally uses a Blackened Alloy ******* Sword 24/39 should i dump it for a 24/40 my friend has?

this is funny, yes the staff USED TO BE on traks drop table but not no more. RL friend of mine let me use it at lvl 52 i was hitting 220's my best hit was 231 its a uber weapon too bad it gone, the proc is a 120dd with a unresistable stun but lasts anywhere from half a sec to 9 secs. way up there someone made a list of the best monk weapons, dont forget the staff of battle 31/37 should be right under IFS. and yes CoF epic haste and chanter do stack had it all. max % haste you can have is 85% quit arguing and end it =D later

I'm not trying to invite a tirade by saying this but im pretty sure it only exists on test server. The reason why is because it is a GODLY weapon... You shouldn't be able to get a weapon with such high dmg and such low delay! Ratio 0.909 is rediculous!! Plus it's no drop, and weapons this strong, such as epic quest weapons are usually no drop so they cant be twinked. Now im not saying that i wouldn't mind having one, but i just dont think they would allow it. Dont know what to tell u ppl who say u saw one... maybe they made a revised version with a lower dmg rating or somethin.....

Ya, too bad its test server only... with a delay/dmg ration of less than one, plus the 100 blows effect, that is one bad a$$ weapon!!! Wouldnt it be funny if u saw one being sold at a merchant.... you would have to weep for the nimrod who sold it to them....not only do the merchants totally rip u off, but the weapon would nvr re-enter circulation again, do to the fact that it was nearly priceless before and the merchants inflate prices by like 400 percent!! Now i know this wouldnt really happen but i had to say something, cuz it sorta makes me laugh when i see that someone has sold a great weapon to the merchants, when they could have sold it to a player for 10 times more cash..... but i digress....
anyway, if i had TPBSoU i dont think i would be able to keep from showing it off to everyone i met! LOL

Well, im sorry to hear they stopped droppin, tho they were super rare to begin with. I seen one on Quellious that a monk didnt have!! Yeah the only one on the whole server and it was up for sale in EC. What a bummer eh fella monks? Well i asked to see it and i nearly pissed my pants. bums me out that i'll never get one tho hehe, guess i'll have to stick with Wu's sticks =)

Monks 50+ or so do not hit for 80-100damage, more like 100-200 (can ya guess? ive seen it lol)
I am on Tunare server and as far as i know the one i seen is the only existing one on that server
heh was badass to see someone woop a SG in oasis with this weapon. inspired me to become what i am today :)

Staff has never droppped on TT yet ... has been said many times that this staff has only been tested on test server and has never been added to live servers.
Besides, why would you waste your time trying to find out if trak really drop this staff ( cause he doesnt ) Head to ToV and other good velius zone and get even better stuff =p

I grouped with a monk, weilding this one, on Saryrn server. We were in dreadlands, and the monk was just a twink... I think it is the only TP bo stick we have on our server... and it went to some twinked monk, not a real one.. Not fair IMO
