Is this item rechargable with any type of mana battery? Or... does selling it to a vendor and buying it back work?

You have to quest for this cloak in Wakening Land (Velious). Need a group of level 50 people. It sells for 3k-6k on most servers.

This is a result of a quest in WL, you kill a safaye messenger, and give the item it drops to Lt. krofer

Just picked up one on Sol Ro for 200pp, and it even had all of the charges. :D I had to ask the guy twice if he had quoted the price correctly. Very nice upgrade from Cloak of the Ice Bear.

If you are a warrior, cleric, or a paladin, 5 charges of Superior Camouflage is handy!
Why spend 5k on 5 charges, (1k per charge) when you can buy invis potions for 16 plat and some change?
Though I agree that buying this cloak just for the invisibility is pointless, it is still somewhat handy. For one, invisibility potions only have a single charge, if I recall correctly. That will fill your inventory up pretty quick if you want to be well stocked, and if your luck is poor, the invisibility may wear off mere seconds after you cast. This cloak, presuming you're using it as equipment, doesn't consume any extra inventory slots.
Using this cloak gives you sort of a "back up" in case, for whatever reason, you run out of potions, or forget to buy them.
Heck, even as a Shadow Knight with self-invisibility magic, I find this to be a nice convenience, because if it's just, say, me and a cleric, and he doesn't have any invisibility potions on him, I can lend him the cloak instead of waiting around for a wizard or someone to make him invisible.

Irs like 6 and a half pounds, and the stats are suck compaired to most capes! Your talking about a possibly 2k item, any more and your just talking crazy talk.If you really want this cloak and see it selling for more than 2k, just bite your tongue and wait about 2 wekks, it will be about 500pp probably!

On mithaniel marr server I bought one of these off someone in auction for about 1100 plat, my 32 nd level barbarian warrior friend loves it , I think it would makes a nice gift.

That trip from FV to LOIO can be deadly w/o invis. And what happens if that invis you received from that nice PC decides to fail just as you reach a group of those spiders. Bam...you got instant invis again.
