All I can say is I should have bought it a year ago for 7k. Then again, i was level 5, and didnt know what it was...... hehe

The price people want for this item is utter BS, and I've heard a LOT of people camp this item. Since the weapon itself is not all that good for the level, you know they are camping it only to sell to druids and rangers trying to do their epic. What is worse (and I've heard this happen) is when a ranger or druid sets up a guild raid to get one, only to find some other person/group sitting on the camp. The person/group then refuses to share the spawn or let the ranger/druid loot an axe, and instead trys to sell the reaver to the highest bidder. Selfish SoB's!
Hardest part of Ranger quest imho. WTB one of these on prexus server, send a tell to Zaztik.
Recently bought one for 15kpp. Good price if you ask me (for my server). PoA and The Hole here I come...

Well recently they have nerfed the drop rate on thses big time. I have some friends who have compleatly cleares the reaver about 15 times this month and didn't see 1 drop. And if you wanna buy one they go from 15-20k. Well you know how it is verant always screws us rangers.
Uh-oh, you're screwed by Verant. Umm, do you want the epic to be easy? Should all epic pieces be common drops? I am sick of people saying Oh boy, Verant sure screwed my class this time.. If you think your class was screwed by Verant, either change classes or change games.

I agree that the epics should be difficult and long but Verant shouldn't make them such that the hardest part about doing the epics is getting past the loot farmers. Make the JR NO DROP will help solve some of that. Because the drop rate seems to be very low that will at least get rid of the get-rich-quick folks. Some people opinion of this game is that they can only have fun by making sure someone else isn't.

Have done two guild raids in the last couple weeks for reavers. Each time we cleared the Black reavers we got one JR. Maybe it was just luck.
i too would like to buy this for my epic im a druid also and they tend to be camped whenever i go there tyhis is 1 of the last pieces i need on Tribunal price can be negotiated or traded...

I have been on more than 15 CoM raids and only seen 3 reavers drop. I know that it is an epic quest but this is the "epic" portion of the quest, waiting for a reaver to fall.

Dragonspine Order went into City of Mist on the 26th, got two jade reavers, an ornate shield, and the shaman epic items.....not a bad night

They should make this weapon Lore... so when you camp it everyone can't get 2 or more.... so any druids or rangers there can get it for their epic.. or other classes for their alts epics

It should be NO DROP. This 2hs weapon sucks for a melee type, there are many better 2hs weapons out there that you can buy for cheap cheap. Thanks Verant /rude
The big, black ugly "Black Reavers" drop these. The Reavers have massive HPs and are massively magic resistant - so bring a raid and lots of blades. :)

Ask around about how much gnome rebreathers for the war epic cost then whine about cost. These are found in CoM on black reavers in the castle area. a good group of around 46-50 can handle this area. ANd they should merit automatically to the pos druids and rangers, if not get a better group.
I usually refuse to reply to post like this, but after a few nights in a row stickin my head into CoM just to see if reavers were camped and see that they were, but no ranger/druids in zone, that got me annoyed. Many people have gotten the "get rich quick" idea in there head (on drinal at least, and judging from these post, it isn't just drinal). The price on this idea "should" be worth about 200pp, just judging from ratio/stats (it's worse than a BABS for god's sake). I understand that it's used in my epic(ranger) as well as druid epic, but 20K?!? Also, this area of CoM is not IMPOSSIBLE, a solid group for 50-55 can hold it with ease, and make some good exp doing it. Because of these insane prices, I refuse to buy one, and encourage my fellow rangers and druid to also refuse to buy it, seeing as this is about one of the most blatant money scams you can do.

And when they drop in CoM everyone wants it cause they know they can get that kinda money for it. What is your average druid to do??? There was no need to nerf this drop if you ask me.
