It says below it doesn't stack with GRM. It would make total sense, then, that it doesn't stack with Guard of Druzzil.
However, since stacking issues sometimes surprise you, I'd like to hear if someone has both the flower, and Guard of Druzzil to confirm it doesn't stack. Thank you.
Aura of Blue Petals Increase Magic Resist from 11 (L1) to 50 (L40) ------------------------------------------------ Skill: Abjuration Allowable Targets: Self
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Range to Target: 100 feet
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Spell cast on you: You are covered by an aura of blue petals. Spell cast on someone: Soandso is covered by an aura of blue petals. Spell fades: The blue petals drift away.
Blue Flower is made by combining Red, White, Blue and Black Throne cards in the Deck of Spontaneous Generation (a 4-slot no-drop container which is obtained in a separate quest from Ferjeneror in the garden). You've got to hunt in PoM to know where throne cards drop.
None of the flowers of functionality have a graphic. Some like it because they generally dislike Verant's attempts at helm graphics. All, I'm sure, wish these flowers had a cool graphic. It's pretty obvious what a cool blue flower headband would look like and yet Verant doesn't make it so, increasing dissatisfaction among endgamers.
You've got to equip flowers in your head slot then right-click it to produce the effect.
As of the August 22, 2001 patch the effects on all 5 flowers are self-only. /rude Verant
The only thing Blue Flower is good for is to give you and only you a +5 MR advantage over GRM. Considering how difficult it is to obtain this is an almighty poor benefit. The other flowers have similar stories. Many dedicated PoM residents feel that flowers should all be targettable to increase their functionality. Now that they're all self-only no one is wasting cards on them anymore.
Do research at www.planeofmischief.com for more detail, particularly if you're interested in the new class armors.
If you all didn't know the mobs drop various cards and items. You collect the cards (kinda like pokemon) and then you put them in a container (oh my how original) and according to the cards you get an item when you turn them into ... *can't think of name right now*. There have been several nice posts about the combination of cards and what will and will not be rendered. There is also a website dedicated to the POM.
Sorry i don't have the link to either of these but search the zone equipment and they are in the replies concerning the items.

This thing would be great for raids if it stacked with greater magic resist, but it doesn't. If it did you could get 140 magic resist from buffs. oh well. guess if yiu were soloing it would come in handy.
I sure hope this has a visual graphic so i can run asbout looking like a hippie with a flower in my hair great look for my ogre make him even more pretty than he already is
The way the drops seem to work is that cards drop, and when you collect a specific four and combine them all together in the Deck, you get a specific item. The type of cards determines your item.
This is what came up in my caster client. Self only buff that Increases Magic Resist from 11 (L1) to 50 (L40). Not sure how it procs since this is a new item, and it's not mine damnit ;)
Head Butt attack, and then it'll eventually proc ;) Or just try to get tailoring up from 125 to 250 and it'll proc lots just from beating your head against the wall :)
