Stamina Update
# Jan 17 2004 at 2:41 AM Rating: Decent
Because the Stamina bar has been replaced with Endurance, stamina-replenishing effects have been changed.

Invigor effects now grant Infravision, and Extinguish Fatigue effects now grant Ultravision.

Thus, according to Lucy, these boots now grant Ultravision.

the yellow bar that used to be stamina is endurance, but the buffs that replinesh that bar still work, i'm a lvl 65 shaman and i've jumped and stuff and proved it still works, lol
Plans?

Now that Sony will be removing the stamina bar .. what is the point of these types of spells? Anyone have any info on what they are replacing the effects with?
Not for Vah Shir?
# Dec 14 2003 at 6:46 AM Rating: Decent
Not for Vah Shir Shaman?!? Noted the display above as I was considering starting on this then realized the Vah Shir Shaman are not listed there. Is that current or a pre-luclin pic I see up there. Can anyone with a piece of the armor check and advise yea or nay on present before I start to go questing for the stuff?
full suit
# Jul 18 2002 at 6:58 PM Rating: Decent
okies hopefully my math skills are up to date and i did this correctly

if i could (and hopefully will) get a full suit of wolfcallers armor, this would be the upgrades(and downgrades) for the gear i wear now

AC +95
HP +35
WIS +18
Mana +90
Saves - 5 (but circle of seasons and one piece of risist gear covers this )
mana free ultravis - RH - Extingush fatigue
here is the gear it would replace
othimar cap
runed mith bracer
acrilla tunic
coldain boots
gladiator chain leggs
nathsir gloves
rune casters vambracers(thurg armor)

so would this be a better life for my sham? you betcha, as it stands now i have the gaunts and the boots (just have to do the turn in) and i hope to get more soon. Bottom line is i feel that a full set of any quest gear total stats will be in the long run better than the patched together look

ryoz soulcrusher
54 mystic
fellowship of midnight
tarew marr

what is better
# May 24 2001 at 1:33 PM Rating: Default
so what boots are better, the spirit callers, or the wolf callers?
RE: what is better
# Jul 27 2003 at 10:17 AM Rating: Decent
depends I guess, spirit caller has 3 more ac, and +1 to saves, but wolf caller has 1 more STA/WIS and mana/hp.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 02 2001 at 3:58 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WTF? What is up with Shamans always getting better **** than druids? Let's compare stats:

can u say snare, track and better damage spells overall for druids

Well, shaman equipment always has lot more AC than druids...which tend to have pretty low ac on equipment. Also, reason for the wisdom on shaman anyways, Shaman generally don't max wisdom easily in their normal work armor, which tends to go for AC over wisdom.

These boots will not be worn by shamans below 55 generally, and it takes a strong guild to get any armors for SS or Kael. Everyone should realize that. So with the very high end armor, it becomes somewhat easy for shaman to max wisdom while retaining the high ac they need to survive.

Druids tend to max wisdom much sooner and easier, though give up a lot of AC in the process...one of the downsides to being more solo oriented. /shrug

And yes, I do have a clue what I'm talking about. My main was a 55 druid before I retired her (and I begain swapping out wisdom items for AC once I hit 200 and could stay at or very near the 200 soft cap).
#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 2:52 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) i wish you people would actually play the game before calling something a fake. besides they are real and it's about time shamans got some real nice armor that is attainable without being in an uber guild.
#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 3:28 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Arg stupid people! it is VERY real i have hunted with at least 3 shaman that have had these on and used effect on me
#REDACTED, Posted: May 01 2001 at 2:47 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Yea....fake.... i also want to report Velious is fake as well.

#Anonymous, Posted: May 01 2001 at 11:18 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Its fake! Got to be a fake, look at how the letters are...the background is the wrong shape and the words are not right either. Must be a fake.
