This drops from the Blood-Thirsty Racnor now.
You would think that a weapon named Feverblade- bane of the shissar would have shissar bane, or am i the only person thinking that proper?
Like the weapon though, competes with some of the PoP weapons pre teir three zones, Just got my key, pain in the *** in my opinion, but it will be nice addition to my bag of tricks.

if u did think u would realize that when this weapon was introduced to the game the shissar's were only a thing in eq lore.....they werent in gamne until luclin

And if YOU had thought, you would realize the Greenmist, another weapon from Kunark had Shissar bane added (upon luclin's release) for lore/story reasons, I personally fail to see your point.
Greenmist has shissar bane damage before Luclin came out. It was a lead in for the expansion.
Being that it is 2 expansions behind luclin and the al'kabor's journal was the lead in for Luclin what point did you have again?...

Is ther a level requirment or recomened level?
In order to go to this zone, you have to kill Trakanon and a pile of other quest stuff that requires you to be high level. In order to kill this mob, you need to have a raid force that can walk into VP and kill many dragons that are Trak-strength.
If you can do this, then getting to level 60 (the max level when this zone was introduced) is not a concern for you, so I would not worry too much about level limitations.

Shouldn't something named Bane of the Shissar do bane damage against Shissar? /ponder
There was no such effect when this weapon was put into the game. Bane damage was introduced two expansions later in Luclin.

Upgraded to 11/18, dropped today, it rocks for a VP wepon heh =)

Rogue backstab is only affected by skill and dmg of weapon. Weapon delay is not a factor in that.
So put this weapon in anybody's hands and taunting off them would be a pain =) Almost makes me wish I was a tank...

Rogue backstab IS affected by delay, the lower the delay the faster BS resets.

Delay has nothing to do with how often you backstab, the only thing that will cause you to be able to backstab more often is haste.

please note the bloodpoint does something very very similiar damaging the enemy and healing the user. maybe not a regen like he said but there are already weapons that do effects to user/mobs that are different. Perhaps we should re evaluate who is in fact the moron.

i think dd is 130 damage
EqCaster shows this as 110dd, with a 441hp regen in 21ticks at 60 (21hp for 21ticks), and is disease based.

some kind of disease dd spell, with a regen. not sure how much dd or regen.
