As someone said earlier, this is an easy piece to craft (that is if you're a jewel crafter with significant skill) I've found it's better to invest in several cheaper pieces then to invest in one grand piece, I.E- a piece of BD gear or platinum diamond with all saves. All in all, this is an affordable piece of MR equipment, which counts for a lot especially when you can be looted by your fellow players.

I play a lvl 58 cleric on Karana, and I know from many experiences of my groups getting mad at me because they all die from Talendors breath or Gorenaires claws, because I was feared and couldnt do anything but run away.

Trust me and the others...casters, no matter the AC, if a dragon wants them dead, they are going to die...you need as much MR as you can get so you arent running away like a little girl the whole fight. A cleric can heal whatever damage a DOT or DD will do to him and he can keep on healing, but not if he is half way across the zone

for some fights you don't need AC (unless yer the main tank) and so if you need MR and don't have a neck piece with MR, its not crap. Its also a very easy piece to make. Imo, if you say this is crap you just never have been on some of the uber raids. I could get my ench with EVERY AC piece he can get and I'd STILL be hit for max damage. AC don't mean squat some times, nor do stats in some circumstances. This ain't crap.

I have to agree with this. I went on my first dragon raid a few weeks ago, and I was admittedly underprepared. I probably shouldn't have gone at all, but I didn't want to miss the chance. Unfortunately, my MR was WAY too low, and I got feared before I got close enough to see the ol' Voxy through the mist. Ended up getting killed after falling through one of those wonderful pits. I will definitely be purchasing more MR equipment in the future. Its kinda humiliating to not even get in a swing.
