what is a current PC?
# Jul 15 2002 at 2:32 AM Rating: Default
Anyone have an idea of a current PC on one of these? Post it. :)

Edit: 7/24/2002 - I bought one of these for 5k... thinking that was a steal... then did the math and realized how much better I was with the SoS... unloaded it for 3500pp... and that was tough... By the way I am on Luclin server... which has a fairly screwy economy, so they may still be more on other younger servers... /shrug - who knows.

Mr offhand was right. A real monk would use a staff of shielding weighing in at 17 28 2.5weight? eff: major shielding?

Anyway, monks use epic delay for primary (cant beat 9/16 really) and staff of shielding for offhand (nice ratio + proc. who cares if it looks noobish)

who ever posted that "not a monk" is obviously an idiot... or not a monk...
I use Scepter of Mastery (13/22) and i would take this any day. Its better than the scepter of mastery (minus the 6 agil/sta) and with my monk i dont need any more stats really. Would be best in off hand tho becuz with my epic fists are faster.. Anyhow this is gud for all that can use it.. Have yet to find one in Dragon nec tho.
not a monk

by the time a monk hits a high enough level to get this, this weapon would frankly be pure crap for him. It's awful for a monk.

#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 17 2001 at 6:18 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) 3.5.....yea thats real light, i bet your monk uses a hammer of flattening :P

is there something funny about a hammer of flattening. i love the high dly and low dmg and the cool look. plus the 15 whatever wt
Great new monk weapon
# Apr 17 2001 at 5:06 PM Rating: Default
this is a very good monk weapon due to its low wt., low delay, and fairly high damage

Seems kind of heavy to me.
not too heavy for 50+ monks
# Sep 27 2001 at 5:41 AM Rating: Decent
Not really, Monks have been optimizing for weight for so long, and their weight limit was upped a few months ago. A Monk at 45 has a limit of 17, and one in his mid-50s has a weight limit of about 20 or more.

Any weapon is heavy for a monk, this is light compared to the majority I've seen...and weapons are fun with a monk unless you're in some really serious fights-if you bothered to keep your skill up any that is.

This is Low weight for a Monk! 3.5 is not heavy at all! and 11/20 is a damn fine ratio too. I would use this all the time if I was a monk. But it's more of a Warrior/Bard/Ranger weapon if you ask me.
#Anonymous, Posted: Apr 18 2001 at 4:09 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) WELL WITH THE NEW WIEGHT ADDITIONS THIS COUPLED WITH A JADE MACE IN THE PRIMARY HAND WOULD DO SOME NICE DAMAGE
