another worthless quest, not even worth taking to time to read about, i mean who wants a 12/21 sword? yeah it has a free DS wow big deal. u act as if rangers dont get DS spells.

You act as if nobody that plays this game likes the chalenge of the quest..

it's also from several expansions back, so of course it pales in compaison to PoP gear...

And anything that frees up a spell gem is not worthless... if it is instaclick, which I'm not sure of (no casting time listed, but also not listed as combat) I can see quite a few uses for it, especially if it stacks with the coldain ring...

Its a proc, so it cannot be clicked from inventory or when worn. Rather it will randomly cast while it is being used in combat.

Why is it on every weapon there is someone who posts that the weapon sucks? This may suck to a level 60, and be great to me at level 29. So what if it is not the best weapon in the game, IT IS STILL A GOOD WEAPON! If you want to say a weapon sucks, go post on a rusty longsword or something.

Simply put, because though it may rock to a level 29, it is unattainable till at least level 46...and probably much higher since anyone under level 50 is utterly useless in plane of air...and for rangers their epic is in fact probably EASIER to obtain than this blade.

I would use this over Earthcaller in many situations, but then I havn't played once in the past 6 months when I wasn't grouped with an Enchanter, or Shaman.... I never get the Earthcaller proc to stick, and it's just an unneeded taunt.

Awesome weapon...great ratio, great stats and practically weightless.

Anyone know what it looks like equipped?

This weapon was around long before Vellious and it kicks ***. You should look at some of the weapons for the other classes from PoA. This one's better than all of them.

Hmmm. I wonder if the effect is constant, random, or triggerable.

If memory serves me correctly, its a 5 point damage shield. Nothing to write home about, I agree, but its not as if the weapon sucks otherwise. :)
