Well tonight marks 1 drop in 15 wins. It dropped the first time we beat him and not since. I'll let you know if we break 20 >.<

We are 0 for 9 to see this drop off Lorekeeper Grenwald so far. The Ranger class specific TSS item also seems rare. Some class specific items seem common such as Shaman's. From what understand each of the mob's 4 loot "slots" in TSS has it's own unique loot table. Only one slot contains rare items such as weapons or this range items.

Example for Lorekeeper:

Slot 1: Molds (all but legs or BP)
Slot 2: Molds (all but legs or BP)
Slot 3: All Non-mold items excluding rare
Slot 4: All Non-mold items including rare

This item doesn't seem to be "common". We have beaten Grenwald 10 times in which one of these has dropped. Has anyone out there seen a higher drop rate with this item? Does one for ten qualify as common, or are we just having a dry run with it?

"Common" is the default rarity until someone tells us differently, and even then it's not an exact science. My usual rule of thumb when editing items runs: every other drop - Common, every 3-4 - Uncommon, every 8-10 - Rare, every 15-20 - Very Rare, past that - Ultra Rare.

Ok thanks. Sorry if I came off a bit harsh. I was really just frustrated at seeing other class specific items go to rot status while we wait to see a 2nd one of these drop :( . I appreciate the explanation.
