However you will have a very hard time finding anyone on any of the servers who have that kind of cash. If you stop and think of the ultra rare uber items or nerfed items they are mostly trade only. If your lucky and want to buy one of these you may be able to get it lower if seller is desperate for cash. I got my PKT for 15k and it sells for close to 25k on my server simply because it was best offer he received and was tired of auctioning all his play time and he needed the cash.

Anyone else notice that this thing says RANGE on it? Not only does it not remove str (big bonus, lemme tell ya) but it also has 5ac and can go into the RANGE slot!!!! HELL YEAH!!!

As a druid I must say I'm glad that there is an alternative to hunting Bilge for something this nice. This, combined with a Writ of Dragonkind and a PKT makes it so you need little other wis gear LOL. 18+18+15=51+base wisdom of 115 (for most people)=166. Now just throw on a your Vermi tunic *and believe me, I'll have THAT before I have this* and a few other things and I'm at 200wis with like 6 slots to equip nothing but effect gear and mana gear.

Not only will wis casters be after this thing, but Rangers and palladins also. 5ac 18wis 20stm...arguably the best range slot for pallys and rangers. Idol of the thorned is comparable, but most rangers at least would probably prefer the 20 stamina to the extra ac from the idol.

The old adage of "If you have to ask, you can't afford it" springs to mind.

I'd say at LEAST 40k pp... Every Cleric, Druid and Shaman in existance will want one of these. Remember, unlike the PKT, this can go in the Range slot! (See picture)

I think it would safely go for at least double that. First off you need meat from a 60+ sea dragon to complete the quest, then add that to the fact that it fits in the ranged slot making it a dream item for rangers and paladins. So I would guess once all the inflation goes down it will settle to 70-80k

PKT is roughly 25-30k so i'd figure that much or most likely more for this item. The stats on OPT are better than PKT. -9 str, +18 wis compared to ac5 +20 sta +18 wis -8 cha.. which would you choose hehe.

worth a LOT more than the PKT.
The PKT is a hand held item, so you are swapping out a paw or a shield, each time you lose a little ac. This goes in your range slot and also has 5ac.
Rangle slot items are always worth a ton. A medicine totem with 5wis and 5ac goes for around 9kpp on my server. This blows the med totem out of the water. I would say People would swap a CoF and lots of cash for this (if they were rich enough). There is NO range slot item that compares to this for ANY class that uses wis (hybrids included)...although you will get the better trades from the wis casters. This little item lets them swap out some of their wis gear for AC gear or mana gear. Damned useful for them. Sucks for me coz i play a mage. My Sarnak knife owns j00!
