Heh, you're not so far off - it's hard to find good replacements sometimes (although there is a LOT of really nice gear coming from all over the place now). I finally replaced my Chipped Bone Bracelet (4ac, 5wis) <same as RMB except for the 3 str> with my Runed ... bracer from the Plane of Hate (woot!). I still have Ulthork Hide Arms, and I JUST replaced my Bloodstained Tunic with a VERY nice tunic from the Coterie in Tene. Mountians. Gearing up to finish my Epic, I'm 52nd, mostly solo or with a small group of friends.
Still Lame

The only good thing about this bracelet is the 50 mana. Its a serious joke. Any 55+ shaman that wears this one has crappy equipment. The only use for this bracelet would be for buffing. Therefore in VI's insane mind uber shaman can now carry around Poison Resist, Disease Resist, Magic Resist, AC and "buffing" gear. BTW this thing more combares to a Runed Mirthl Bracer than to Rune Etched.
Slighty better

Slightly better than before, about +1 to all stats, less one AC, and an additional 30 mana.
But 2 charges??? WHY? We can cast the damn spell. *sigh*
Hmm...Big Bracelet

It can go around the wrist or the waist?
What is up with the Charges?

Come on... are these items at least recharable?

As I understand it, the batteries which are sold on the vendor on Isle 1 can be used to recharge Sky quest items. I haven't seen any information on exactly how this is done (does it involve the Box of the Void and combining item + battery in the box?) and I've heard rumors that it might require tinkering.

Long story short -- I've heard a lot of conflicting information on how Sky items can be recharged, but I've seen no concrete information. I suppose its a lot easier to test now that combining a wrong combination of items in a container shouldnt make you lose the item.

Does anyone have specific information on trials and/or know the exact mechanism for the recharge?

Exactly. I mean, how stupid is that, that it doesn't have unlimited charges?
