Concerning the blued 2handed hammer , the quest was fixed about a month and half ago, also tested.
The quest is working.What makes the quest rare is first xorbb who has the slime crystal staff is one of rarest spawan in the game . You give 4 crystal staves to the visiting priestess in najena( uncommon 1 out 5) and you seek a another priestess who rarely spawn on the stairs in cleric guild in neriak .
The quest involves not so common npc making the quest rare to finish. Also considering that quest was broken since the game went retail was fixed only recently is the main reason why no other blued 2 handed hammer made it into everquest

The number fo hard quests ive done or mobs ive fought and all i get for my troubles is a hunk of crap. Remeber the incoming players and those below 50...

just because you are wearing items that drop off level 30+ mobs doesnt mean thats what you were intended to wear.
look at all quests that can be done around your level. *those* are the items that you should be wearing. look at the items dropping off mobs your level. *those* are the items you should be wearing.
idiot newbies like you beleive that because your level 20 and have full crafted armor and a wurmslayer that anything above level 20 should drop weapons better than wurm slayers and crafted armor.
just to follow up my example..
the wurmslayer quest can be done at around level 40ish. thats at what level it was intended to be used at. crafted armor can be done at high 20s to low 30s. thats what level range it was intended to be used at.
lamentations can be gotten only at 52+ or so. thats what level they were intended to be used at.
Kael quest armor can only (for the most part) be gotten by 55+, thats what level it was intended to be used on.
anyways you get my point.
im tired of little brats like you walking around in armor and weapons that you couldnt earn yourself for another 20 levels ******** about why all your stuff sucks, why the risk vs reward is skewed incorrectly.
remember, once upon a time short swords of the ykesha were godly...

I kknow how you feel wearing bronze and some crafted when you see people your level and lower wearing far superior equipment but think about this, whne you reach level 60 as those twink will you will get there thru skill and have greater knowledge of the role of your character where the people who twink a char and then level as fast as possible wont have skill quite up to par with your own. All twinking does is take the challenge out of the game personally I would rather struggle to 60 and earn everything I have (which btw I did) then twink a level 1 in gear most people level 40+ wear so that when i am of the level my gear would be suitable I am also a player who can use it. So in ending for all you people who look at twinks and think why do they get to have this gear at such a low level remember when you make it to the higher levels your skill will be far superior cause that is what will keep you alive where twinks relly on there gear to do that job.

Lol... that is SO true. I remember having to listen to a lvl 49 Warrior complaining he was excluded from a Hate raid because he wasn't dual-weilding a pair of Yaks. Admittedly this was years ago, but in those days Yaks WERE 'uber'.

Dude it takes next to nothing to get to lvl 50 anymore if you would just put more time into playing and not complaining about things that you have no control over. And if Ub3r items dropped off of lvl 30 mobs then they would be camped round the clock by 50+ characters. There is a balance to the game so that people dont farm too much. But of course if this still dropped then you would ***** and moan that high lvl characters need to stop farming so just quit complaining and just play so that you too can join the FoN(Farmers of Norrath).

Well These Items "were" intended to be obtained at a certain level .However the developers knew that these items would also be sold...A major part of EQ is the economy,If Items found or quested for could only be sold to players of a similar level then the economy would bottom out because few people would pay a good price for an item they may easily be able to buy...If Verant thought that twinks were bad they would simply put a level requirement to equip a weapon...I have suffered from 20-30 as a warrior in FP,Bronze and in the last few levels a couple pieces of crafted that I was able to quest for.It is hard to compete with that kind of armor and modest dropped weapons against a warrior in full crafted and wielding a Wurm and a centi it is frustrating but that is the game..The real problem is more that higher level peeps twink there alts...if the economy was left to each player forced to make there own money to purchase items then the game would be more balanced...

I have an Idea. It says soemthing about blue flames and Neriak? Is ti not intresting that the Blacksmith in Commons is called "The Blue Flame". Maybe someone in there can help you... just an Idea to help with a "maybe broken quest".

I have seen her many times and killed her only 5 but not once has she dropped it. Man the wieght is horrid for a monk but for a war it would be pretty nice.
From what I remember reading about this item a LONG time ago, the proc does 70 pts of AoE magic-based Lightning damage, decent radius. I could be wrong; hell, we don't even know if this exists anymore. :(
