Yes, these greeves are nice, but surprisingly the shining pants are better in terms of hp =/ totally outta line for the 2 sets.

Velious quest armor is still pretty darn good, I actually went to the trouble to make a armor list that includes ac, stats, resists and effects. Over all, Velious quest was first, planar second, and SoL third. granted Luclin probably has better stuff, we have just not found it yet. Also, some planar peices are better than Velious quest armor, but over all, for total ac, stats and resists this is how they stand.

This isn't end game armor.. There will be better armor soon enough.. The ToV quest stuff makes Skyshrine armor pale in comparison...
However, this is extremely nice armor compared to what there was a year and half ago, when full valorium meant you were uber twinked. I won't even see any more valorium than what i have, if i do it will be banked and used rarely... I have the legs and vambs, vambs are already in bank for resist gear.
With SoL Coming out, someday scaled knights armor will be banked and used for stat gear or something.

If your a roleplayer like myself, Kael armor dont seem like it would be a paladin armor since giants are a evil race, well dwarves are good and dragon Neutral, but i seem to like the dragon more in the long run the stats are better then all the armors

I am siding with dragons, ac is not king in ToV or anywhere like it, resists is king, at all times you have max resist gear on not ac gear, as such skyshrine armor is as good or better then kael armor and it has better overall stats to.

This armor drops in Temple of Veeshan, it's in a degraded form, and must be quested, you take this armor to Sky Shrine (who you must be Ally with) along with which 3 gems it requires. Not to mention Plate Legggings are very rare. Very hard stuff to get.

Actually Plate leggins aren't too rare.. We got about 8 in one night.

what do i kill to get a better faction rating for the scaled kinght armor, the dwarfs in icewell keep ?
my guild has been raidin icewell and im not sure if im never going to get any of thay cool armor , but weve also hit skysrine a few times we never killed the giants but we have the guardieans

Great DEX ++ for Procing melle weps
Great Hp ++ for us Monstrous HP Pallys
Great STR ++ for dmg.

what does this stuff look like when you equip it? thats really the only determining factor weather i go for Dragon or giant factor, both armors have high points to them and i could see myself wearing either but wich of the 2 looks better? :p

Of course :) but the quest for them takes forever. This is the end game armour and as such there should be a certain "wow" effect about them.
But if your an AC nut like myself you would go with Kael quests, since they have a higher AC rating.
