Im a 65th shaman and I use the primal cudgel from the Burrower in Acrylia.
It also has the click effect Primal Essence which makes a very nice buff to top up on melee stats or for a quick post ressurection buff.

This weapon sucks for a high level shaman.
Actually, this is quite nice for a high level shaman - if it works as I understand it, it allows you to cast Primal Essence. I am lucky enough to have the spell (which is VERY rare), but I know there are a LOT of shaman who don't. PE stacks with EVERYTHING I can cast right now - HoS, FoS, AGI, STA .... with the exception of Voice of the Berserker (which it MIGHT stack with, but as all my melee stats are maxxed with VoB, I have no need to cast both). Sadly, I do not have Avatar yet, so I do not know if they have changed stacking with Avatar yet (I would assume they DON'T stack, but you never know).
Also, there is an upgraded version of this item - the last in the line of the Iksar Cudgel quests (Just search for 'Iron Cudgel' to see all of them, otherwise click HERE). While it is actually a decent weapon (this one doesn't seem so great), it also fits in Range slot, and the effect is + 40 to STR AGI DEX STA. Nice! Of course, it is fairly hard to get for an Iksar shaman .... and for non-Iksar ... Waaaaaaay harder than it's probably worth - but I leave that up to you. Enjoy!

i think kenny was posting based on his knowledge of luclin, PoP loot. compared to that loot, this item SUCKS. it takes up both primary and secondary and only provides 60 mana, no hp, and just a decent spell proc, which is a worthless spell to a lvl 65 shaman who has even most of the 60+ spells. but for someone not in an uber guild.. perhaps in a guild that's just starting to get into NToV and VP... this is phat lewt.

The proc thingy gives 20 agi, 20 sta, 20 str and 20 dex... don't care if you already know this, but I know alot of people just are checking out the uber gear and would like to know.

Its not a proc. Its a clickable effect with a ~18 second cast time, must be equipped to cast. Buff lasts for 63 minutes. Doesn't stack with Avatar or Agi buffs.

Well I may find out on 4/27/01, but does this thing stack with Focus? Sure hope it does.
Nice to get one for each shaman, then they start getting destroyed
