Got an Abjurer's Earring today off Master D'Samni. I figured I'd post this update since nothing has been said on the item in years. Maybe some progression type player in the future will want to hunt for this drop (well, maybe not...).

I'm better off staying in some leveling dungeon, more loot there and exp. Don't ask me to take you here, cuase I won't. Not unless I am in your guild. I hate being in raids, everything is NBG when it should be all/all unless no drop. Raid does not mean guild raid, those are two completely different things so they should be handled differently
hey, that's great, but noone here asked you to take them anywhere or to join their raid.

Three, use punctuation, it's easier to read and cuts down on the rambling thing. Because other items that are much better they should increase the drops in the planes. It makes no sense that you actually go to the plane, fight the disciple of innoruuk and he drops... nothing? Oh but the 40th one does drop it. It would be much more of an adventure to fight everything ONCE. And have a respawn of about 2 days up to 1 week for the god to respawn. Make the things immensely more powerful so that many ppl can get involved, but every mob has a drop. Then you wouldn't feel so bad about going on a raid for a day and NOT getting anything. Or getting items like this that suck.

your typical poh raid will net you ~10 blue diamonds, and several more diamonds. thats about 10 chances to make an earring superior to this, as well as alot of diamond earrings which are also about as good as this.
how many of these do you think will drop on your average poh raid? something tells me ALOT less than diamonds/bd's

For several reasons:
Getting the gear is often considered a Right of Passage. It often takes multiple trips to get any complete set.
To prevent resale/twinking of items. Same reason the level limits were coded in to prevent Level 1 characters from camping in there to log in to loot.
To make the customers continue to play the game. Difficult to get, No Drop items help insure that customers retain their subscriptions to the service.
There are additional reasons, but these are the most common.
