Look at where it comes from. Any guild that can get this will be seeing rk. 3 runes rot before then.

The heal spell is the third rank 3 spell beastlords get. So I will have the spell long before the BP, because at current costs the spells cost about 2 days worth of raiding dkpwise and the bp costs about 35 days of raiding to get, and that's for one slot, so will never be a big priority to me.

That is not really the case atm. It might be in the near future, but we are only getting 3-4 runes per big task. If you consider that there are what 9-10 Rank 3 per class. (not sure exact amount) If you have a decent size guild of 50-70 people, it's going to be a while. It might be until next expansion where they are the equiv of Ancient runes. Right now they are just not that common.
