Grynne has never complained before that he could not wear this or that, what does Grynne need it for? Grynne is a Basher! now Grynne is offended. earring of Bashing is for OGRES? ogres dream that they are Bashers but they are not. /rude Inny for dropping this earring to ogres and making them think they are Bashers. Grynne would complain that you don't drop anything for Trolls, but Grynne killed you without it.

i gotta say that beeing an ogre is really fun...lots of stamina and strength without the need to get items that increase theese stats. but i think the biggest advantage of beeing an ogre is the fact that we cant be stunned from the front, that has saved me and my group lots of times :) this wonderful earring just increases the power of ogres

This is a Race specific drop off Innoruuk. To the pesron who said Nice but could have put more classes on it, HELLO, Ogres can ONLY BE THOSE THREE CLASSES! What classes do you suggest you put on an ogre only earring? Inny drops one item per race now, so all the other non-ogre warriors have their own races drops off the big pickle.

There are NO drawbacks to being a large KOS race. In terms of size, you can get shrink potions...you don't have to beg for hours to be shrunk. If you are capable of forethought and planning (buy shrink potions, avoid NPCs..that sort of thing), large kos races like ogres and trolls really ROCK!!
The benefits are huge. Lots of str, lots of stamina, a mountain of hit points, can't be stunned (ogre), regen (troll), see in the dark well (both).
It just takes a little brain power. Anybody who thinks large races are dumb is totally way off base. It takes a good player to get a ogre or a troll to a high level.
Dont make comments if you don't know what you are talking about. Here's to all the ogres and trolls out there.

And now for the disadvantages... Low Agi and dex on the Ogres... big problem for them - cuz most higher level warriors still have comparable hp... Trolls do have a good balance of Str,sta,agi,dex tho ... altho the regen isnt really all that great unless your a shaman or solo early on. In that case of the early solo then you dont gain HP all that fast also...

I have a ton of oger friends and I think this item is great. I would love to help someone get one. Every class/race has its problems ok so every chill out and be happy someone can enjoy the time they put into their characters and stop whining when you cant use something

Oh well, it's a nice earing though, way to go to the guy who got this!

That kind of immediately negative viewpoint is a what VI keeps going on about - and in this case they are right. Waiting 10 minutes to judge would give you necessary additional information - that Inny's dropping lots of different race-specific items now. So this is a cool, diverse change that rewards all races.
PS do some quick checks with /who warrior all comparing barbarians, humans, dwarves will show you ogres arent all that common. They just get in the way so much it SEEMS like they're everywhere.

Has anyone considered giving this to that new Ogre NPC.. the coin quest guy? Maybe the "coin" is a metaphor for something like this.
