On Zek this thing is priceless. I have only ever seen one for sale in bazaar.
It sounds very cool, but having spent a fortune to make one, I'm afraid it's a novelty. The effect is very short lived and the range is very very short.
Perhaps if you were fighting in a canyon and had 6 group members each lay a trap so that no mob could go past without triggering one, AND you were able to kill that mob within another 24 seconds. Disappointing, but fun to watch anyway. =)

Since I happened to get some infused ore when porting to the Steppes (see Necklace of Warportal Fragments), I figure I'll hand it to my tinker alt and see what else I need to make one of these. In a duo I could see having the non-tank lay down caltrops just as the mob is getting low enough to try to run.

Can this be recharged in a toolbox with a specific mana battery? And if so, which battery?
For the creation a Class 3 battery is used, so a Cl. 3 battery should recharge it.
