Who cares?

Does anyone actually see the stats on this? 10 cha, 5 int, thats a pretty good item. I dont know the effort to get it, but to me, those are good stats, even without the proc. Why must everything have a proc, clicky or effect for it to be worthwhile? All I read on these boards is, I want an effect, I want this, I want that, gimme some primal, give it a rest already.

I agree. Don't get me wrong. I like effects on my gear, but stats are just as important if not more important in my opinion.

Umm Droggle, since when is this part of the enchanter epic? I am 75% complete in my epic and of the last 4 peices I need this is not one of them. You may want to recheck your info. I believe you may have some wrong information from somewhere.

#REDACTED, Posted: Jul 03 2001 at 9:11 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This item isnt bad, it may not have the greatest proc, but the stats are pretty good. Also it is part of Enchanter Epic so this is a must have for all chanters. Im hoping to get one soon and have my epic by 55. =)
Its not totaly useless....

Its a decent enough item, and its proc is useful in rare situations. Remember that a large portion of our spells are specialist spells for certain situations, druids and wizards have their evac spells, we have an emergency charm spell. Every little helps.
grrr

2 charges, whats the ******* point?
PoS drop has POS effect!

I completely agree that the proc on this weapon is crap. When would this proc be helpfull at all? Since Cajoling Wispers cant charm above 45 its never in your wildest dreams going to save your life or really even help you by the time you get this. For it to be remotely usefull it would have to be unlimited or have a better spell. What's more is that the War belt gets them unlimited haste. That is actually usefull! This is the cheapest proc that verant could possibly give us. Dont be so stingy VI. :(
Not uncommon

Many PoS quest pieces have 2 charges of things, especially monk stuff. For example, Sandles of Alacrity: Monk PoS feet with 2 charges of alacrity.
#Anonymous, Posted: Mar 16 2001 at 12:23 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) The stats are nice, but the proc is crap. Cajoling whispers will only charm 45th and lower mobs. I t should at least be Allure since it's a charged item...
Nice

Other than only having two charges, this is a very nice reward... for a change.

I agree, but what's up with only 2 charges? All this unlimited stuff coming out. Hopefully for you poor enchanters (boy I love grouping with you [insert blatant brownnoser noise] enchanters) you can re-charge this at some point. Otherwise you have to do quest all over again.
