Anybody care to talk about getting faction in detail for turning this in?
Very nice

I happened to get one of these the other day on my server. Its real nice perfect for guild PoA Raids where key corpses are used. It still uses a tiny coffin to cast but no mana. Wich is good I have done a mass summon for my guild after we wiped in UP. Wel not the whole guild just bout 3 groups of 58+. This is one of the best necromancer robes in the game by my opinion.

Velious Armors
# Feb 21 2003 at 10:15 PM Rating: Decent
As far as the velious armors, I like this one the best look-wise. Since as a caster, the robe is the only visible piece, the robe matters the most.

What will I do? Probably get the PoG robe, and then see if I can't get Skyshrine for everything else. I got bored and added up the stats for all the full sets. Here's what it comes out to be...

49 AC
38 STA
38 INT
220 HP
60 Mana
10 DEX
+15 Sv Fire
+16 Sv Cold
+22 Sv Magic
+12 Sv Disease
+14 Sv Poison

Plague Bearer's

65 AC
46 INT
39 STA
210 HP
90 Mana
10 DEX
+23 Sv Fire
+25 Sv Cold
+19 Sv Magic
+23 Sv Disease
+25 Sv Poison

49 AC
53 INT
44 STA
280 HP
170 Mana
13 CHA
12 DEX
+14 Sv Fire
+25 Sv Cold
+25 Sv Magic
+20 Sv Disease
+15 Sv Poison

Obviously SS armor (Rotting) owns the other 2 in stats... equivalent AC to Thurgadin.

Kael, Thurg, or Skyshrine?
# Jan 30 2002 at 4:25 PM Rating: Decent
Just wondering about which quests are better. Here are the stats for the Skyshrine one, AC: +12 Sta: +15 Int: +15 Cha: +7 Magic Resist: +3 Fire Resist: +3 Cold Resist: +10 Poison Resist: +5 Disease Resist: +10 HP: +70 Mana: +50. The Thurgadin one is AC: +12 Sta: +15 Int: +14 Magic Resist: +10 Cold Resist: +5 Poison Resist: +5 Disease Resist: +5 HP: +70 Mana: +50. And last the Kael Drakkel one is AC: +14 Sta: +15 Int: +14 Magic Resist: +4 Fire Resist: +10 Cold Resist: +4 Poison Resist: +14 Disease Resist: +4 HP: +70 Mana: +50. Any help would be apprecaited, thanks!

Personally, all 4 robes are good. Minor resist changes doesn't really matter, for a caster can make that resist up quite easily.

I wear the Warlock's Robe, and I would NEVER wear the skyshrine robe because of it's look.

In this case, robe distinguishes your character from the crowd.

I like the Warlocks Robes' purple/redish look, it's unique. Skyshrine looks like another Blackened crystaline robe (yay...), and for a Necromancer, I aim for hps/stam anyway, and all 3 robes have the same stat in that area.

Just my 2cp.
Which quest is better?
# Jul 17 2001 at 2:38 PM Rating: Decent
I compared the stats on all the Velious necro robes (I'm not goin' through the whole sets), and they all have roughly similar stats. Warlock (that's Thurgadin) has no fire resistance, and kinda sucks regardless.
So, Kael vs. Skyshrine: You see the Kael stats above. Skyrshrine is 12 AC, +15 STA, +15 INT, +7 CHA, +3 Magic, +10 Cold, +5 Poison, +10 Disease, +3 Fire. So basically the decision is for resists. I have to pick just one, since it screws my faction with the other side. So given the sort of creatures one is likely to face as such levels, which set of resists is better?
#REDACTED, Posted: Jun 11 2001 at 12:45 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) Why no links to a pic?
so the robe is the only decent quest
# May 26 2001 at 4:58 PM Rating: Default
the other items seems pretty poor cept for the pants and this robe.
best thing it seems is the cheating of the lv requirement of conjure corpse being a 57 spell and this robe working at 50 or so previous posts state
# May 19 2001 at 2:19 AM Rating: Default
It really isn't tough to change faction, you can go from ally with one to ally with the other in 2 weeks if you raid every night... And raiding every night is more than worth it.
This robe is superior to Thurgadin robe
# May 07 2001 at 12:57 PM Rating: Decent
This robe has total resists of 37, Thurgadin robe has 25 total resists. If you have yet to choose a faction path, and you want to otain the best, I recomend choosing either Keal or dragon, as it's more challenging with what appears to be greater reward.

gotta get one of these makes advisor robe look like a rag
the way it looks
# Mar 16 2001 at 4:01 PM Rating: Decent
anyone got a link to a pic of it? or know what pattern and colors it uses? btw... the effect really isnt' that unique right now... considering its on the PoG necro robe..a nd prolly on allteh quest robes in velious for necros.

# Apr 02 2001 at 8:33 AM Rating: Default
I'll let ya know getting it this afternoon and as far as the effect hehe it will be most useful on large scale raids, when things go wrong mass summons are in order and a mana free SC will rock :) the spell is 700 mana and when you have to summon 40-50 ppl that will help alot :)

IT still requires the coffins, however you can use the stackable ones...
RE: Good lord
# Mar 16 2001 at 10:57 AM Rating: Default
whats the price on stackable coffins?
RE: Good lord
# Mar 16 2001 at 12:01 PM Rating: Default
around 75pp for stackable coffins with crappy cha
RE: Good lord
# Mar 16 2001 at 12:40 PM Rating: Default
About 80pp

A spell like this w/out useing Regenerate would be someing for a Epic type item.. With a Necro / Cleric Combo your talking about Fast Corpse recovery
RE: Good lord
# Mar 17 2001 at 3:42 AM Rating: Default
hehe now u need one to wear and one for the bank to use on flubed raids. good thing there not lore.
RE: Good lord
# Mar 19 2001 at 9:43 AM Rating: Default
This has suspiciously the same stats as the PoG cleric robes. From memry nearly the same. hehe. With a similar effect. Still, nice effect.

Lets you use stackable coffins that cost about half as much as the big ones, but if you're level 57 you can do that anyway now can't you? hehe, and faster than the robes too. ;0
RE: Good lord
# Mar 22 2001 at 8:15 AM Rating: Default
Not really faster than with the robes, since the robe is a manaless cast. Even if it's a long cast time, how long does it take to med from just 1 summoned corpse?

Also, seems to me it's time to kill dwarfs or dragons, since all the Kael stuff has the highest ac out of the 3 quest places.
