They knew that when SoV came out, two years ago, that this spell would be a VERY good click item even if it took 15 secs. They also knew that in two years when they upgraded the game, four expansions later(SoL PoP LoY LDoN), people would get this robe WHEN they were lvl 44 and it would still be a huge upgrade for them. So if you get this robe NOW at lvl 60, don't ***** about it, your guild is just a little slow for your lvl.
This robe is the best looking Wizard Velious robe by far! Mages get only good looking robes, chanters get one good looking I think and 2 real grose ones, we Wizards get THE grosest robes.. the SS robe looks like one my my Grandmothers old dresses! And it really annoys me that this robe only has EOF as an effect! That spell is not worth crap! They could at least make it Conflag and out EOF on that Velks robe! Anyways...nice stats on them.

This is one of the best looking robes in my opinion, not the best but of the better ones, Go to www.graffe.com and look under robes, there is a pic there of this robe. Several people in my guild have them, i am up for one soon.

Enticment is in fact a lesser version of the Lure spells. It is less resistable than normal spells but not as much as Lure's. Condidering my Lures get resisted all the time anyway, it doesn't really matter hehehe.

Its usless and i have used it only a few times to impress my friends. Do you know how much mana u regen w/ c2 over 6 ticks? Enough for a 800DD maybe even more. It does have a low agro, maybe thats because it does no damage for the time it takes to cast.
The amount of mana you regenerate from Clarity spells sitting is equal to standing. you ONLY lose meditate if you cast this robe, Clarity line spells will still give you full mana. Same for FT items and Bard songs and the Sot4

Since the cast time on the robe is 15seconds? its near there, you can chain cast with this robe with small chance of being aggroed. Gotta love the 90 pure mana as well.

it is 360dmg. doesnt resist as much. nice spell to have on a robe. cool thing is, mana free nuke. which is awesome!

enticement of flame is a lvl 44 wizard spell, does 360 dmg, hard to resist, but not the same as a lure, this is an all or none dmg spell which means it will hit for the full 360, or not at all.
is harder to resist than a normal fire based spell, but not as unresistable as a lure.
at lvl 49 i was able to hit a lvl 65 mob about 50% of the time with this spell in the PoG.

Effect has a 30 second casting time - basically useless unless you can time sitting up, casting, sitting down, and standing before it goes off (medding inbetweeen)

I was wondering what is the effect of "Enticemet of Flame". It sounds like a lvl 49+ proc because of the high lvl quest that goes along with it.

It a 44th lvl DD that is supposed to save like a lure. I forget how much damage it does exactly though I think its around 600(maybe 400), and I remember it being resisted more than lures.

It's a DD that does about 350 points of damage. It is supposed to cut through or ignore heat resistances and there for is resisted less often than other higher damage DD's. This allows us to hit higher level mobs with fewer resists.

The spell IS A Lure, it takes 240 mana for 340 damage so isnt nearly as effecient as Conflaguration, which is a DD of the same level for Wizards, but this is a triggered effect on a Robe. So who cares about Mana effeciency :)

It is NOT A LURE. It is called enticement becuase it has a low aggro effect. It uses 240 mana for 360 dmg.

Don't listen to Dbuzman, who obviously doesn't know what he is talking about, it is the first lure wizards get, and yes it is a LURE.
