I don't understand the fuss some people were making over this when it was introduced. It has the same AC as the leather armor that you can buy from a merchant in practically every old world city for cheap, but the leather is lighter. You don't have to collect very many rusty weapons or pieces of cloth armor off low level skels to be able to afford to buy a full set of leather, either. The risk of going into the Warrens to get this stuff is way too high compared to the almost zero risk of hunting in a newbie zone and buying the vendor sold leather armor. You can have the full set before you reach level 5.

Soft Wicker has a green look, and is what a TRUE wood elf Ranger or druid should have (in my opinion). I am a lvl 22 Enchanter and I LOVE to farm the foodmaster. Great for Int casters looking to twink, do to the BBQ Erudite that drops there (Banquet meal, +3int, common drop. almost every time, at least 2 of them). So, the foodmaster, and Smithy, are a great camp for Int casters, and they have about a 10-15 minute in between spawn
Hope this helps you casters out there

I just bought a full set for my Barbarian Beastlord yesterday for 37pp. Has everything showing and non showing. Seems like I got a good Deal. The guy also threw in a pair of splitpaw gloves! (love that wis boost) I havent given it to her yet, hope she looks as good as the elfs with it. Since shes only 4th lvl she'll be wearing it for a while.
I also give this stuff to newbies and also give them shan'toks and balanced fer'esh's from LOIO, they look like they have been twinked to the max. Most love the shan'toks and fer'esh's. Funny to see all the naked newbies (if i don't have wicker) sporting a shan'tok or fer'esh, much better than what they have and the bats and wasps fall in two hits LOL
I play a 24 druid and get this armor all of the time when killing burly kobolds. I usualy have about three sets of this by the time I call it a night. I will go to GFay and just pick out druids levels 1 - 5 and give it to them. I always figure that they will get more use out of it then i would by selling it. And it also looks decent. A little random twinking never hurts and it makes that players day so much more fufilling.
Kobolds in the King's room drop this stuff quite frequently. More rarely if they are trivial to you.
IMO, this looks odd on all races BUT .. high elf women. All high elf women who can equip this should own a full visual set of this. When you put it on, you will see why. =) It's as lovely as leather, only a very deep velvet green. Perfect choice for a formal occasion where you don't want to be wearing plate, clerics and pallys...
Have been in this fun little zone for 3 levels now. Sold a full set of wicker (13 pieces) for 30pp. Gonna try to sell next set for 40pp (figure on 3pp per piece is fair).

Wow, you're pretty generous. A full set of wicker has 50 AC, and even bronze armor usually sells for at least 1pp per AC. I would think that the wicker would be worth just as much...
It shouldn't be worth as much because you can buy leather from merchants in every old world city for only 1-2PP for each piece. If you can buy Leather Tunic from a merchant for 2PP, with the same AC and less weight than this, why would you pay more than that for soft wicker? Soft wicker should actually be worth less than leather because it encumbers you more. Coming up with the coin to buy the leather is also a lot easier than having to hunt the Warrens and then waiting for each piece to drop until you get the full set. You can get the leather at level 1 by selling rusty weapons that drop from skels. A lot less risk for a marginally greater reward. Soft wicker was only ever good for selling to save up for something else. A smart player would have already bought the full set of leather before going into the Warrens in the first place.

I spent a day in the The Warrens, I set out for the Soft Wicker and Cold Iron armor. It seemed simple enough, the higher Kobold the more frequent he dropped the soft wicker. So, killing pack leaders, huge kobolds and greater shamans had the best effect. It also seems that the peices you want (tunic, arms, legs, hat) are very rare. In 5 hours of fighting only one tunic and one arms dropped, two legs, and one hat. Hope that helps, I know everyone just wants the visable peices anyway =P
Kobolds in the Warrens off of Paineel drop it. I believe the weakest ones to carry it are the Howlers (~11 level) and the lesser kobolds than that drop the burlap armor (which is basically cloth). As near as I could tell, the type drops were fairly random; at least I would get legs off a Howler but then something like a wrist band or gorget off a higher level kobold so I don't think the type drops are level dependant.
Can n e 1 tell me what creature drops the soft wicker tunic and maybe it's lv? I am really desperate for this tunic. If n e 1 can help me I'd be more than grateful
Vermi is GREEN CHAINMAIL (Yes completely green like someone took it and dyed it (similar to Black Iron but green) )
And Ivy Etched is the SAME THING but for rangers. There we go. hehe.
I only have the Vermi pants, but when ever I look at myself, the part on a wood elf that is usually silvery (chainmail) is noy dyed green. So it is Green on Green.
Hi my druid on Mithaniel marr has a full set minus the helmet piece i dont like helms i use halo of light spell for that but i get asked day in and day out. WHATS THAT ARMOR for the love of Veeshan its Wicker leather heh it looks like learther but turns you completely green skin and all similar to bloodstained tunic i think btw side note the weaker burlap sets atr great for casters :) better overall ac in the beginingso if your a lower level playter trying to twink another get burlap for casters and this Green giant costume set for everything else its also nice on druids since they are green too

I like to twink, and currently, its a druid I wish to make, send a tell to Eversor on the Tunare Server, will pay good for full set of showing bits (it might be hard for 40sk to get this with Verants new zone rule) oh well I will bolster the economy with an influx of PPs, how about 400 for a full set? good
Hehe..can be green leather or pretend Vermiculated. Looks kind of pretty. I will be a walking closet pretty soon. I am carrying the visible armor pieces of ulthork and gnome skin with me and can change my look at a whim.
Tsk. Leave it to a woman to carry around 2 extra outfits. This isn't green leather. Its green spraypaint. its just whatever you look like naked...just green.
I have a full set of this on my lvl 5 Wood elf druid, No one really takes much notice cause they think im a ranger wearing Ivy etched armour, the looks are very similar unless u examine more closely
You people haven't a clue. I can't believe a 52 druid wouldn't know that Vermi looks nothing like this. Vermi and Ivy Etched are both green chain while this is most definitely green leather.
